Nothing screams summer like a light and flowy maxi dress which I love wearing them so much in the warmer months!  The maxi dress I’m wearing is from Banana Republic and it’s such a stunning dress which would so perfect to wear to so many occasions.  I edged mine up a little by topping it with a black Iro leather jacket which is an investment piece that I’ve had in my closet for years so it’s been well worth it when I consider the cost per wear.  This beautiful floral maxi dress comes in 2 colors and I love how it’s cut up in the front so it shows a little bit more leg making it little sexy and very flattering!  It also has a very defined waistline so it gives the illusion of a thinner waist which is always a good thing!  It runs true to size, I’m wearing a size 0.  Check out my list below of places you could wear this chic and classy maxi dress which proves it’s versatility making it a definite summer staple!  THE BEST PART, THIS CHIC FLORAL DRESS IS 40% OFF MAKING IT WELL UNDER $100 AND QUITE A STEAL!

HOW TO WEAR A FLORAL MAXI DRESS:

I would opt to wear a heel of some sort with this flowy feminine dress, a wedge would work too if you wanted to dress it down a bit.  For a more edgy look top this fabulous dress with a white or black leather jacket.  Adding a jacket to any look is always a sure fire way to make it appear more luxe!  Check out the other 6 STYLE TIPS I posted last week on my blog and YouTube channel titled: 6 STYLE TIPS TO LOOK LUXE ON A BUDGET.

WHERE TO WEAR A FLORAL MAXI DRESS:

1.) BRUNCH:

This dress would be perfect to wear to brunch!  I would pair it with some fun wedges and dainty jewelry for a chic ensemble sure to turn a few heads!

2.) CHURCH:

If you were going to wear this dress to church I would pair it with an ankle strap heel and top it with a white blazer which would add the perfect amount of sophistication to this pretty maxi dress!

3.) WEDDING:

For an evening wedding or even a day time wedding, this dress would be perfect!  I would, of course, wear it with an open top ankle strap heel like the ones I’m wearing in this post which are called the ‘NUDIST’ by Stuart Weitzman, they’re so good that I own them in 3 colors!

3.) LUNCHEON:

Depending on where the luncheon was I would opt to wear the dress with no jacket over it with some metallic or nude heels which would add height and make your legs longer, always a plus!

4.) DATE NIGHT OR GNO:

To edge up this girly dress for either a date night or GNO I would definitely layer a cool leather jacket over it and wear a killer pair of heels no doubt!

My black ankle strap heels are by Stuart Weitzman and my wardrobe could not function without these!  I wear them a ton with jeans, dresses, skirts, and of course jeans!  I have them in nude and gunmetal too because they’re that good!  Since the heel is a wearable 4 inches they’re actually fairly comfortable when it comes to a heel.  A nude and black heel is a definitely something I recommend in investing in since you will wear these a ton.  However, if these are out of budget no worries, I also recommend these block heels by Sam Edelman!
