SHARING MY TOP 5 UNDER $100 WARDROBE ESSENTIALS WITH NORDSTROM

Good morning gorgeous ladies!  Today I’m excited to be teaming up with Nordstrom to bring you some of my favorite affordable wardrobe basics that every closet needs!  I believe in having plenty of basics in your wardrobe and then sprinkling in the more trendy pieces to create looks that are both timeless and on trend!  Nordstrom is my favorite place hands down to find all of these chic basic pieces at affordable prices!

I’m sharing 2 looks and in both looks, I’m wearing basics most of which are under $100 that every wardrobe should have and trust me if you have enough of these chic basics in your closet you’ll hopefully never have that dreaded feeling of “I have nothing to wear” again!

OUTFIT 1 DETAILS:

TOPSHOP BLAZER (UNDER $100):  I literally couldn’t believe this gorgeous blue blazer was under $100!  When I tried it on I was even more surprised because this chic blazer fits as well as a designer one yet it’s a fraction of the price!  The material is high-quality looking and is wrinkle free so this blazer would travel very well which is always a plus.  Pair this timeless and versatile blazer with jeans and heels for a dressier ensemble perfect for a lunch date or casual business meeting or pair it with some chic sneakers for the perfect casual weekend look!  It runs true to size, I’m wearing a size US 2.

BODYSUIT (UNDER $40): This neutral bodysuit is by Leith which is one of my favorite affordable brands that Nordstrom carries.  I’m actually wearing it in both looks proving its wearability and versatility!  It’s super soft which means it’s extremely comfortable.  This neutral color will literally match everything in your wardrobe which means you’ll wear it a ton.  I’ve only had it a short time and I’ve already worn it numerous ways with different looks proving it’s versatility!  The best part, this sleek and flattering bodysuit is only $39 making this wardrobe basic quite a steal and a definite must-have!

TRAVE JEANS: My light wash jeans are by Trave which is a new denim line and I’m so happy that Nordstrom is now carrying it!  These jeans are made of that highly covetable vintage denim which is all the rage right now.  They’re high waisted with an ankle length which is the perfect formula for making you look taller and slimmer, need I say more?!  They run true to size, I’m wearing a size 25.

SILVER HANDBAG:  My chic silver handbag is by Rebecca Minkoff and I’m a huge fan of metallic handbags!  If you’ve been reading my blog for a while then you would know this because I’ve carried silver handbags a ton on my blog this spring and summer.  The reason is that they literally match everything and they’re the perfect chic accessory to take any look to the next level!  If you don’t already own a silver handbag I highly recommend adding one to your spring handbag collection, you’ll be surprised at how much you carry it!

SILVER HEELS SIMILAR:  My translucent heels are by Shutz and I’m obsessed with these versatile heels!  Translucent heels are a huge trend this season and Nordstrom has a wide selection of these uber chic heels at all price points!  My exact heels are sold out, however, Schutz makes some other clear and silver ones that I love just as much and they would look amazing with this look!

GUCCI SUNGLASSES:  I was in Nordstrom the other day and came across these insanely cool sunnies by Gucci and I couldn’t resist!  I love the light gray lenses with the pale gold frame making them super versatile which is something I want in a pair of sunglasses.  If I’m going to splurge on a pair of sunglasses I want them to go with all of my looks so I can wear them every day and get my cost per wear out of them!  These subtle square frames are all the rage right now and I think they’re very flattering on most people.  I’ve got a very small face so most frames look too big on me, however, these sunglasses fit my face perfectly.  If you’ve been looking for some super cool sunglasses that will go with a ton, look no further, these are your answer!

OUTFIT 2 DETAILS:

DENIM JACKET (UNDER $100):  This cropped denim jacket by Topshop is such an edgy and fashion-forward piece perfect to add to any summer jacket collection!  I’ve only had this jacket for like 2 weeks now and I think I’ve worn it like 4 times already styled different ways proving it’s versatility!  I wore it with white jeans, a simple white tee, and sneakers for a super casual weekend look.  I dressed it up for a date night wearing exactly what I have on in look 2 of this post and my husband loved this look!  I also wore it with faded blue jeans, an edgy graphic tee, and some sleek heels for a fun girl’s night out!  This jacket runs true to size, I’m wearing a size US 2.

PAPER BAG WAIST PANTS (UNDER $100):  Paper bag waist pants and shorts are a huge trend right now and I’ll have to admit I’m a huge fan!  This high paper bag waistline is super flattering because it hits the slimmest part of your waist and they make your legs look longer too which is always a plus!  I love this light green color which is so perfect for summer and really all year round.  The material is super soft and feels really good against my skin.  The best part, these uber-chic pants are only $69 making them quite a steal and a definite must-have!  They run true to size, I’m wearing a size XS.
