VERONICA BEARD BLAZER REVIEW:
The black moto jacket I’m wearing is by Veronica Beard, one of my favorite designers, you can insert dickeys into it which makes it super versatile and look like an entirely different jacket. A dickey is an insert that zips into the jacket making it appear like you’re wearing 2 jackets, so cool and chic! Veronica Beard makes tons of dickeys and all are interchangeable with all of their jackets. Tiffany is wearing a more casual gray hoodie dickey with her Veronica Beard blazer which I have too and love!
In look one, I’m wearing the silver leather dickey by Veronica Beard. It’s such a stunning piece that takes any look to the next level and gives this chic moto jacket a totally different look. It’s made of real leather so it’s a bit pricey, but when I consider the cost per wear it’s well worth the investment, plus I know this is a piece I’ll have in my wardrobe for many seasons to come!
The fit of all Veronica Beard jackets is so on point, the tailoring is impeccable and the sizing is always the same. I own several of their blazers and jackets and I’m always a size 0. Every jacket I own by them hugs my curves in all the right places which means they’re all super flattering.
This moto jacket is wrinkle free and I love the zipper detailing making it very edgy yet polished at the same time. I’ll be wearing this amazing jacket for many seasons to come, this is an investment piece that will never go out of style! This fabulous jacket comes in white too which would be so perfect for spring and summer, I may have to grab that one too!
COST PER WEAR:
I wanted to address cost per wear in case you don’t know exactly what it means. I talk about it a ton in my posts so I wanted to clarify what I’m referring to. When you’re considering purchasing something expensive that would be considered an investment piece, to me that means anything over $250 you should always consider the cost per wear – meaning how many times do you plan on wearing this item. If you buy a pair of $600 Malone Soulier’s heels and only wear them once to a wedding then those shoes literally cost you $600 for one wear which is way too much in my mind. On the other hand, take this Veronica Beard moto jacket I’m wearing, I’ve already worn it at least 6 times so I’m down to $100 per wear, however, I know I’ll wear this jacket at least 20-30 more times in the future making the cost per wear under $20 and that is well worth it! So the next time you’re considering making an expensive purchase make sure it’s worth it according to the cost per wear, your wallet and your wardrobe will thank you!
MOUSSY DENIM (WORN IN BOTH LOOKS):
My black Moussy jeans available at Shopbop are mid-rise, perfectly distressed and the faded black wash is super versatile. Another amazing thing about these jeans is that they’re an ankle length which means I didn’t have to get them hemmed which was good because the hemline is actually a little distressed and very cool! Most designer jeans usually cost around $200 and these are a bit more, but when you put them on and see how unique the distressing is you’ll agree they’re worth every penny! Especially if you wear them as much as I do making the cost per wear well worth it. They run true to size, I’m wearing a 25.
FRANK & EILEEN HOODIE (WORN IN LOOK 2):
In look 2 I styled this Veronica Beard jacket with this super cool hoodie by Frank & Eileen. All the celebs and mega influencers are wearing hoodies a ton alone and underneath their favorite jackets. What sets this hoodie apart is that the sleeves are super long so they stick out under your jacket sleeves and they’re very thin and fitted so they fit perfectly under any jacket, most hoodie sleeves are too short and bulky making it impossible to wear them under a chic jacket. The exact dark gray color I’m wearing in look 2 isn’t available online, but I found a light gray one, a black one, and a white one which are all versatile colors that will incorporate well into almost any wardrobe. I highly recommend adding one of these cool-girl hoodies to your closet, it’s the perfect piece to step up your off duty looks!
SO HEATHER COIN NECKLACE (WORN IN LOOK 1):
I designed this gorgeous coin necklace for Harper Hallam, one of my all-time favorite jewelry lines! I wear this necklace a ton with literally everything because it goes with so much! Layering necklaces are so in right now, so I made this chic necklace to look like it’s layered, however, it’s actually just one necklace! I designed it with silver and gold on purpose because I love mixing metals, it’s such a chic and effortless way to wear jewelry! The best part, the ‘SO HEATHER’ necklace is now 10% off with code: ‘SOHEATHER10’ – THIS CODE WILL WORK SITEWIDE! Give this necklace as a gift to someone special on your list and grab one for yourself while you are at it, trust me, you’ll find yourself wearing this timeless piece, again and again, I know I do!
