THE BEST UNDER $60 DRESS EVER STYLED 4 WAYS

Happy Friday friends!  I’ll have to admit I’m so happy the weekend is finally here, anyone else?  I don’t wear dresses very often as you may already know if you’ve been reading my blog for awhile now,  but I do think it’s important to have a few really good ones on call for those last-minute dressy events you may have to attend.  That is why we were on the hunt to find a versatile and affordable dress that you could wear to multiple different occasions and we found the perfect one!  In today’s post, we are showing you how to style a maxi dress for different occasions proving the versatility and wearability of this under $60 fabulous dress!

This chic to death dress is wrinkle-free and has a tastefully sexy plunging neckline that I’ll have to admit I’m a huge fan of!  This dress comes in 2 gorgeous colors both so perfect for fall and winter!  I personally love the rusty cinnamon color the best, I saw this color everywhere on the streets of Paris when I was there recently with my Mom for her 70th birthday.  I think both colors can be worn beautifully on almost any skin tone or hair color as you can see from our post.  I’ve never really thought about this before, but we all have different hair colors and skin tones which is good so you all can see how the clothes look on all different types!  I also love the fact that this dress has sleeves so come the cooler months it will be perfect!  This flattering dress runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS.

HOW TO STYLE A MAXI DRESS:

As you can see this versatile dress can be dressed up or down depending on what you style it with.  Natalie wore it very casual but so cute with a pair of neutral booties, a crew neck sweater tied at the waist, and a fabulous hat.  This look would be perfect for a Sunday brunch and or a lunch date with your girlfriends.

Sam wore it semi-dressy with some killer snake print booties, a Chanel inspired jacket (of course, Sam always wears something Chanel and I love it), and a sophisticated and chic structured bag.  This look would be so fabulous to wear to a luncheon or to church.

Cathy dressed hers up a bit more by pairing it with some vintage Fendi heels that I’m dying over because they’re seriously so incredibly chic, a fun leopard clutch, and an amazing fitted black blazer by Balmain (steal version here)  which happens to be mine by the way, lol!  This look would be so good to wear to a winter wedding or a dressy luncheon.  Wondering how to score lux items like a Balmain blazer for less, check out my latest blog post and YouTube video titled:  HOW TO LOOK LUXE ON A BUDGET

Finally, I styled mine more on the dressy side like Cathy by topping it with a glamorous black fur jacket by Alice and Olivia that I’m obsessed with!  I love the cropped length and think this fabulous fur jacket would look so amazing paired with denim and boots as well.  If this jacket is out of your budget, no worries, I linked another one that is a black faux fur jacket and it’s very similar yet a fraction of the price.  I wore gold heels along with my gold layered necklaces which I love and literally wear them with everything!  My look would be amazing to wear to a winter wedding, on a dressy date night, or even to a Sunday brunch.

I’m wearing gold ankle strap heels which are by Gianvito Rossi and these exact ones are sold out so I linked some similar gold heels at a very good price point.  I think a pair of metallic heels are a definite must-have in any functional wardrobe because they go with so much and do a great job of bringing any look to the next level.

I love the plunging neckline because it’s the perfect canvas for my gold layered necklaces that I wear all the time with all of my outfits.  The Dior choker isn’t available online so I linked another gold choker I found that is very similar and would pair well with this look.  I also linked several other gold necklaces you can layer and wear together for a chic necklace stack sure to take all of your looks to the next level!

Finally, I’m carrying my Dior saddlebag that I got in Paris, yes it was my one splurge item and I’m so in love with it!  It’s a great bag to carry during the day or night and I adore the gold hardware.  I found one of The Real Real for you ladies and it’s 20% less expensive than if you bought it in the store, always a plus!  If you’ve been thinking about investing in a designer handbag I highly recommend this one.  It’s incredibly timeless, versatile and will go with everything casual and dressy!
