What To Wear To A Football Game

Happy Monday, everyone! It’s a new week, but more importantly, it’s football season! What a wonderful time of the year. I have two kids in college – my son is at Alabama and my daughter is at Texas Tech – both team colors being red! This football game outfit is one of my favorite looks – simple and chic.

Red Moto Jacket: This red leather Moto jacket is my statement go to piece for game day and the price point is amazing at right around $100. I especially love the front asymmetrical zipper! Faux leather is an on-trend and affordable must have piece for fall. This jacket also comes in black and can be styled so many different ways.
Black High-Rise Jeans: A good pair of jeans is a necessity when it comes to my wardrobe, especially when cheering for my favorite football team. These high-rise black frame jeans are some of my all time favorites and so flattering. This new high-waisted denim trend will make your legs look longer and thinner. You can never go wrong with a good fitting pair of jeans!
Basic White Pocket Tee: Would you believe me if I told you this Madewell white tee is only $20? That’s right! White tees play a key role in the fashion industry because of their versatility and simplicity. I love the look of a basic tee under blazers, faux leather jackets, denim, and sweaters.
Snake Print Booties: This Jeffrey Campbell bootie is one of my all time favorites with the pointed toe and towering block heel. As you all know, animal print is making a huge appearance this fall, so adding a snakeskin pattern will definitely spruce up your game day outfit. These booties are only $160 and a great look for the season!
Game Day Approved Clutch: Practical and chic, not only is this clutch game day approved, it’s also the perfect travel size makeup bag! I would recommend investing in one of these clutches if you are planning a football game or trip anytime soon. I also love the see through aspect of this bag because it keeps all of your daily essentials in sight. And by the way, this clutch by Hudson+Bleecker is only $30!
Aviator Sunglasses: Not only are these aviators simple and fashionable, they remind me of Gucci brand sunglasses (but for 1/4 of the price)! Inspired by JLO, these aviators are designed to flatter a diverse variety of face sizes and shapes. Sunglasses are an essential and key necessity for afternoon tailgates and football games. Well under $100, these Quay aviators are some of my go- to shades!
Red Lipstick: You can never go wrong with bright red lipstick as an accessory to your game day outfit. Though this lipstick by Charlotte Tilbury has 10 gorgeous colors and shades to choose from, I picked red for obvious reasons. I love that lipstick can be worn on any occasion and you can reapply at any time you need. Lipstick is not just makeup, it’s a fashion statement!
