I SHOP FOR A LIVING AND HERE’S THE 8 CHICEST THINGS I’VE SEEN THIS MONTH

Happy Monday gorgeous ladies!  I hope all of you had an amazing weekend!  I laid low and had a much needed relaxing weekend.  Well, I’ve been doing this blogging thing for about 6 years and 2 years before that I was a personal stylist so it’s safe to say that I’ve become an expert in the shopping arena. I do it not only because it’s my job, but I love to do it to help and inspire all of you which hopefully I do if I’m doing my job right.  That being said, I’m always on the hunt for the latest and greatest items, some being trendy, but mostly I try and find items that are staples that can be worn over and over again season after season.  See below for the 8 CHICEST items I’ve found this month (I’m wearing a few of them in this post) and feel free to shop them if anything strikes your fancy!

THE 8 CHICEST ITEMS I’VE FOUND THIS MONTH:

1.) CITIZENS OF HUMANITY GRAY JEANS:

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, gray jeans are one of the most versatile shades of denim.  I’m going to even go as far to say they’re more versatile than a pair of blue denim jeans!  I was on the hunt for some not so basic light gray jeans so I could wear them into spring and summer.  When I stumbled upon these uber chic jeans by Citizens of Humanity I was immediately impressed.  They’re high-waisted with an ankle length, the perfect formula for longer looking legs and being only 5’4 I’ll wear anything to look taller!  I love the super cool bleached distressing on these jeans making them the ultimate cool-girl jean that will take you beautifully into spring!  They run true to size, I’m wearing a 25.

2.) LEOPARD TEDDY COAT:

Teddy coats were hot in 2018 and they’re still holding on strong in 2019, in fact, teddy coats are one of 2019’s biggest trends.  Another trend we saw in 2018 was leopard and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon, trust me!  This gorgeous leopard teddy coat encompasses two of 2019’s hottest trends which is why it made this list.  The best part, this uber chic teddy coat is only $128, quite a steal for such a versatile piece you’ll have in your closet for many seasons to come.

3.) BALENCIAGA HEELS:

I’ll admit it, killer shoes are my vice, I’ve always believed that shoes are definitely worth investing in and here’s why:  First, you wear them a ton more than you would say a pair of jeans or a top so they need to be high quality to sustain the wearability.  Second, you can wear a simple white tee and some ripped jeans and if you pair that simple look with a pair of amazing heels you’ve just taken your look to next level!  When I saw these Balenciaga heels in Neiman Marcus I knew they would fit perfectly into my wardrobe especially after I considered the cost per wear.  If these aren’t in your budget, no worries, scroll down to see which snake print heels made this list and they’re super affordable!

4.) SILVER FARAH BELT:

Hands down the coolest accessory I’ve added to my closet so far in 2019!  This chic belt has been seen on tons of mega influencers and on all the coolest Instagram feeds.  My favorite way to wear it is with a simple white tee, blue jeans, and a black leather jacket.  Check out my LiketoKnow.it post I did sporting this exact look.

5.) GUCCI SUNGLASSES:

I love a good pair of chic to death sunnies you can throw on with any look and instantly bring it to the next level.  These super cool sunglasses by Gucci are timeless and will no doubt be in style for many seasons to come.  They totally remind of the one’s Cate Blanchet wore in Oceans 8 and by the way, I was obsessed with so many of her looks in this movie!  Anyone else see this movie and feel the same way?!  I also love these Raybans which look almost identical to the Gucci ones but are a fraction of the price!

6.) SAM EDELMAN SNAKE PRINT HEELS:

If you follow me on the LiketoKnow.it app then you may have seen this post I did wearing these super chic yet extremely affordable snake print heels by Sam Edelman.  SNAKE PRINT is going to be the print of the season in 2019, mark my words!  It’s my personal favorite print wear and actually one of the only prints I’ll wear along with leopard of course!  These heels are comfortable, wearable, and will look amazing with all of your spring and summer looks making them a definite must-have!

7.) SCHUTZ SNAKE PRINT BOOTS:

I told you snake print is huge this year which is why the last 3 items on this list are snake print.  These killer boots are so amazing and the price point is pretty good too by the way.  They also come in a solid black which I love too, although the snake print ones are by far my favorite!  See how I styled them here on Instagram and here on LiketoKnow.it.  Trust me, these killer boots will take all of your looks in 2019 to the next level of chic!

8.) TOPSHOP SNAKE PRINT TOP:

Pink is one of spring’s hottest colors so when I came across this stunning pink snake print top at Nordstrom I immediately fell in love!  Tuck this uber chic top into some faded black high-waisted denim and throw on the silver belt from above for a polished and chic ensemble that will take you so many places in style!
