Good morning gorgeous ladies!  I’ve written about why I think the midi dress is the most flattering for all ages before so it’s no surprise I’m styling another chic midi dress (this one is under $100) in today’s post!  This time I’ll be talking about how to style a gray midi dress specifically in the winter time.

When I found this gray midi dress at Nordstrom I knew I was going to love it!  After trying it on I was pleasantly surprised, this midi dress fits like a glove and hugs your curves in all the right places!  The material is thick enough so it holds you in where necessary and I love that it hits below the knee making it very flattering for all ages.  It’s super soft and very comfortable too which is always a plus!  If you don’t want the dress to be too tight I suggest going up a size.  I went with my normal size which is an XS and I’m happy with the way it fit.  The best part, this uber chic midi dress is under $100 making it quite a steal and a definite winter must-have!

HOW TO STYLE A GREY MIDI DRESS IN WINTER:

During the winter months, I suggest pairing this chic midi dress with a fabulous teddy coat which is all the rage right now!  We are seeing teddy coats all over the place on top influencers and tons of celebs so if you haven’t already added a teddy coat to your winter wardrobe now is the time!  The one I’m wearing is by Blanknyc, one of my all-time favorite jacket designers, they seriously make the BEST JACKETS EVER at the most unbelievable prices!  I adore the light pink hue of this incredibly cozy jacket and the versatility of this winter piece is endless.

For example, I’ve worn this jacket with a simple tee, ripped jeans, and white booties for a more casual look and I’ve also worn it more dressy with a black bodysuit and black leather pants.  The possibilities are endless because this amazing teddy coat is so versatile making it a definite must-have and at this price point it’s a no-brainer!  It runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS.

When it’s really cold out instead of wearing a midi dress with heels, I love to pair it with a pair of chic booties.  Pairing a midi dress with an ankle bootie not only winterizes the look a bit, but it also adds the perfect amount of edge to the ensemble which I personally love!  Another great thing about wearing ankle booties with this look is that they’re much more comfortable than wearing heels which is always a plus!  My silver Veronica Beard booties are almost sold out so I linked several others that I love just as much at various price points to fit every budget.
