16 PIECE SPRING CAPSULE WARDROBE

Good Morning ladies! Every season I do a capsule wardrobe and I always get such great feedback from it so I’m definitely going to continue creating these fabulous capsule wardrobes for you ladies!  What is a capsule wardrobe you might ask?  Well, a capsule wardrobe is made up of key basic pieces that can be mixed and matched together making getting dressed every day so much easier for YOU!  I’ve spent hours perusing my favorite websites and trying on tons of pieces to create the most functional, affordable, and incredibly chic spring capsule wardrobe.  I’ve broken it down to 16 key pieces you’re closet needs guaranteed to make your spring wardrobe more functional!  Be sure and scroll down to view all 16 pieces and feel free to shop anything you love along the way.  Happy spring shopping!

16 PIECE SPRING CAPSULE WARDROBE 2020:

SHOP THIS LOOK: 

1.) BLANKNYC TEAL BLUE SUEDE MOTO JACKET:

I’m so in love with this gorgeous teal blue suede moto jacket!  The color just screams spring and it looks so good on almost any skin tone.  The fit of this jacket is impeccable and the fact that its real suede makes it look way more expensive than it really is!  It’s by Blanknyc which is my all-time favorite affordable jacket designer.  If I’m being honest I own way too many Blanknyc jackets but in my defense, it’s because they’re literally that good and I wear them a ton!  Throw this jacket on with jeans, a jumpsuit, pants, or even denim shorts for a look that is guaranteed to scream spring and get you a few compliments along the way!  This jacket comes in tons of colors and runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS.

2.) NUDE JOGGERS: 

The moment I laid eyes on these chic joggers by Alice and Olivia I knew they would be a key piece needed to complete my spring wardrobe.  They’re not only super comfortable, but they’re incredibly slimming since they have the stripe down the sides.  They’re wrinkle-free with a high waist and an ankle-length which I love!  I’m 5’4 and I didn’t have to have them hemmed which is always a plus.  This fabulous pants can be worn dressy with a moto jacket and heels as I styled them in this post, but they will look amazing worn super casual with a simple tee and some fun sneakers!  They come in black too and run true to size, I’m wearing an XS.

3.) IVORY CAMISOLE:

This white cami is so good and only $30 what a steal! I wear this one all the time because it’s neutral and matches everything. The white is perfect for spring, however, there are lots of colors to choose from including black. I love the scalloped edges giving a unique touch to the simplicity. This exact cami was featured in my recent YouTube video titled: 16 PIECE SPRING CAPSULE WARDROBE.  It runs true to size and I’m wearing an XS.

4.) NEUTRAL HANDBAG: 

A neutral handbag is a definite must in any women’s wardrobe!  The reason is that a neutral handbag will literally go with everything especially the lighter tones we all tend to wear in the spring and summertime.  One of my favorite neutral handbags is this one I got from Nordstrom a while back.  The color matches everything and the size is perfect.  It’s big enough to carry during the day but small enough to carry at night as well.  The exact one I’m carrying is sold out, but Nordstrom has plenty of other options of course!  If this Saint Laurent one is out of your budget, no worries, I love this one by Rebecca Minkoff!  Feel free to check out another post of me carrying that exact Rebecca Minkoff bag titled: 8 MUST-HAVE PIECES FOR 2020 FROM NORDSTROM THAT WON’T BREAK THE BANK.

5.) WHITE JUMPSUIT: 

A white jumpsuit can we worn so many ways and to so many different places making it a definite spring staple!  This one is super flattering, the material is thick enough so it’s not see-through and it’s wrinkle-free!  I love the tie waist belt because it makes this versatile and timeless jumpsuit extremely flattering.  You can tie it on the side, in the front, or in the back like I chose to do.  You could also remove the belt entirely and replace it with another chic belt of your own.  I love this jumpsuit worn alone, but it also looks incredible with a jacket of some sort draped over the shoulders.

6.) GOLD CHAIN NECKLACE:

A gold chain necklace is an accessory that will go with all of these chic looks perfectly!  I love it worn alone, but it also looks super chic layered with other dainty necklaces.  I’m recommending this one by Jennifer Zeuner, but I also love this under $100 one from Nordstrom!

7.) THE WHITE BLAZER:

A white blazer is one of the most versatile jackets because it can take you to the office, on a date night or girl’s night out, to run errands, to a Sunday brunch or church and I could go on but for the sake of time I’ll stop there.  You get the point, a white blazer can seriously be worn so many places dressy and casual so needless to say you need to add to one to your spring jacket collection ASAP!  If this one is out of your budget, no worries, the one below is super chic and under $100!

8.) WHITE JEANS: 

White jeans look so fresh and modern in the spring and summer!  These particular white jeans are by Agolde and when I say these are really good white jeans, I’m not exaggerating!  The material is thick enough so it hides any challenges areas which is something I always look for in a good pair of white denim.  They’re high-waisted with an ankle-length which means they will do a fantastic job of making your legs look longer and thinner, always a plus!  They do run a tad bit big so I suggest sizing down one size, I’m wearing a size 24.

9.) MADEWELL UTILITY JACKET:

This is a jacket you’ll want to wear like every day, I know I do and I have since I got it, lol!  It looks with heels and sneakers so it’s one you can easily wear dressy and casual!  It runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS.

10.) LIGHT WASH JEANS: 

These amazing straight leg jeans are by Madewell which means the price point is so good!  These slimming jeans are only $128 which makes them a crazy good deal and a definite must-have. They have a vintage-inspired look however, they have stretch in them which makes them extremely comfortable!  These also made the TOP 3 BEST JEANS for spring list so grab them before they sell because I promise you they will, they’re that good! They run true to size, I’m wearing a size 25.

11.) STEVE MADDEN HEELS:

I love these square toe heels which is one of 2020’s hottest trends by the way!  The croc-embossed print makes these under $100 heels look way more expensive than they really are which is always a plus and this color will literally go with everything!

12.) WHITE BELT:

Adding a belt to any ensemble is a sure-fire way to bring it up a few notches!  I’m recommending 2 croc-embossed white belts and both are under $50!

13.) GRAY JEANS: 

Probably my favorite color of denim to wear in the spring and summer and by far my most worn jeans in my closet!  These slimming and incredibly comfortable jeans have a high-rise with an ankle-length which is the perfect formula for making you look taller and slimmer, need I say more?! They run big so size down one size, I’m wearing a size 24.

14.) IVORY KNEE-HIGH BOOTS:

I’m obsessed with these statement-making knee-high boots because of this gorgeous color and the croc-embossed leather making them look way more expensive than they really are! They are also surprisingly very comfortable for a heel since the heel height isn’t that high. I really love how perfect the ivory color is for spring giving a fresh and chic touch to your look.

15.) WHITE TEE:

Because no functional wardrobe is complete without a great basic white tee it’s no surprise that this one by ATM made it into this spring capsule wardrobe!  The material is super soft and it’s very high quality meaning it last you several years!  If you don’t want to spend $85 on a tee, I get it, I love this one too by Madewell and it’s only $19!

16.) WHITE LEATHER SNEAKERS:

Everyone needs a pair of white chic sneakers they can run around in and look cute while still being comfortable.  I love these platform white sneakers I just got because the platform sole adds at least 2.5 inches (always a plus for petite women like me) and this neutral shade literally matches everything!  If these are out of your budget, no worries, I love these white leather ones from Nordstrom that are a fraction of the price!
