4 WAYS TO WEAR THE PAPER BAG WAIST TREND

This look would be so perfect to wear on a hot summer day!  I adore this white bodysuit which is such an amazing basic to have in your summer wardrobe.  It’s very flattering and slimming and since it’s a bodysuit you don’t have to worry about it coming untucked or bunching up at the waistline which is always a plus!  This racer tank style that’s cut in at the shoulders is actually another summer trend we’re seeing all over IG on tons of mega influencers and celebs so if you love it as much as I do grab it before it sells out because my prediction is that is will most definitely sell out!  This bodysuit runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS.

This slimming paper bag waist skirt is by Agolde and I love how it cinches in at the highest part of my waist making it uber slimming!  This versatile light wash couldn’t be more perfect for summer.  A skirt is always more flattering than wearing shorts in my opinion so if you don’t love wearing shorts then I highly suggest giving this super slimming paper bag skirt a try.  Wear it with some low heels like I did for a date night or girl’s night out OR wear it with some sneakers and a simple white for a more casual day time ensemble.  This skirt runs big so I suggest sizing down one size, I’m wearing a size 24.

These paper bag waist utility pants are by Frame and I’m obsessed!  I love this light sage green color because they literally go with everything.  Wear them now with whites and neutrals and then come fall wear them with black and charcoal gray shades.  They’re wrinkle-free so they would travel really well too which I love – hopefully, we all get to travel soon.  These pants look amazing rolled up and paired with your favorite pair of heels but they would also look amazing worn with sneakers or flat sandals for a more casual day-time vibe.  These pants run true to size, I’m wearing a size 25.

Even in the summertime, an all-black ensemble can be so incredibly chic!  These paper bag waist jeans are also by Agolde (the same designer as the skirt in look 1) and I love this 90’s inspired silhouette.  If skinny jeans aren’t your thing then you’ll love these because of the more relaxed and over-sized fit.  This faded black wash makes these jeans a bit on the edgy side which fits right in with my signature style.  If you’re wondering what your signature style is then be sure and check out a YouTube video I created covering this very topic titled: 7 WAYS TO FIND YOUR SIGNATURE STYLE.  Wear these cool-girl jeans on your next date night or girl’s night and I promise you’ll get a few compliments!  They run a little big so I suggest sizing down one size, I’m wearing a size 24.

This olive green leather skirt by Frame is one of the coolest skirts in my closet!  It’s super slimming because of the paper bag waist and the fact that its leather makes it even more amazing!  It is a bit of an investment no doubt, but it was a piece I knew I would wear a ton in the summertime so when I considered the cost per wear it was definitely worth the money.  The best part, I found this stunning leather skirt ON SALE for you ladies at Saks.  Wear this chic look to your next Sunday brunch or casual get together because it’s not only stylish but it’s very comfortable too!  This skirt runs true to size, I’m wearing a size 25.
