HOW TO WEAR A WRAP SWEATER:
SOMETHING NAVY WRAP SWEATER (50% OFF):
Dressing this time of year can be a little difficult because all of the gorgeous spring pieces are out, yet it’s still freezing out in most parts of the country. I always try and find a few transitional pieces I can wear now and also wear when springtime comes. This cozy and chic wrap sweater from Nordstrom is the perfect piece which will take you beautifully into spring! It’s crazy soft and I love the sexy plunging neckline. I love this neckline for two reasons: one it allows you to wear a sexy bralette underneath and leave just a sliver of it peaking through which adds the perfect amount of interest to any look and it also allows you to show off your favorite necklace of the moment. The sleeves on this sweater aren’t bulky, in fact, this is a pretty lightweight sweater so it’s perfect to wear under a jacket.
Come springtime wear it alone with a white bralette underneath and some light blue jeans for the perfect spring ensemble sure to turn a few heads! This gorgeous sweater comes in multiple colors ( I also own the yellow which is another hot color for spring) and the price point can’t be beat, it’s ON SALE for UNDER $60! It runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS.
ANINE BING BRALETTE:
I’ve owned this sexy bralette by Anine Bing for a few years now and I wear it a ton under v-neck tees, sweaters, and even camis. It adds a bit of tasteful sexiness to any look sure to bring it to the next level. I also love the Free People version of this bralette that’s a fraction of the price and it comes in tons of colors. I own the white one and wear it a ton during spring and summer.
AGOLDE JEANS:
The black skinny jeans I’m wearing are by Agolde, which is one of my all time favorite denim designers. AGOLDE makes affordable designer denim that fits amazing! These slimming jeans are high-waisted so they make your legs look long and I love the minimal distressing making them have that perfect cool-girl vibe without looking too overdone. This black faded wash seriously goes with everything making super versatile! They run true to size, I’m wearing a size 25.
SCHUTZ KNEE-HIGH BOOTS:
I recently did a post in the snake print version of these fabulous boots titled: THE ‘IT BOOT OF THE SEASON and they’re so good I had to get them in black too. First of all, knee-high boots as opposed to over the knee boots are really hot right now! These chic boots are extremely comfortable too because the heel height is only 3.5 inches making them very wearable. I love the gorgeous black embossed leather making these boots look way more expensive than they really are. If you want a pair of fashion-forward black boots that will go with tons of items in your closet these uber chic boots by Schutz are your answer! I know I’ll be wearing them a ton for many seasons to come!
IRO LEATHER JACKET:
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, a black leather jacket is a staple that every woman should own and it recently made my top 10 list in a post I just did titled: 10 WARDROBE BASICS EVERY WOMAN SHOULD OWN. I’ve had this Iro leather jacket for several years now and it still looks brand new. If you’ve never heard of Iro, they hands-down make the best leather jackets on the market, period. Yes, they’re pricey but they’re worth every penny because the leather is buttery soft and the fit is impeccable. When I considered the cost per wear I knew this jacket would be worth the investment, I’ve worn it over 70 times I bet in the last 3 years and you will too if you decide to make the splurge. If not, no worries, Blanknyc is my favorite affordable moto jacket designer and this black faux leather jacket is pretty amazing and under $100! I’m wearing a size 34 in this Iro leather jacket.
