Burgundy Cut-Outs

Yes, if you haven’t guessed it already, my favorite color to wear in fall and winter is BURGUNDY!  It’s such a gorgeous color and looks good on almost anyone!  I especially love mixing this fall shade with gray.  In fact, as I mentioned in a post I did a while back I think gray or faded black jeans are the most versatile denim color out there, even more than traditional blue denim.  I stumbled upon this chic top while perusing Nordstrom online and I immediately fell in love with it.  It’s not your typical top, it has these really cool cut-outs in the front of the shoulders which adds the perfect edgy touch without going overboard.  It runs true to size, I’m wearing a size XS, it’s wrinkle free, and it comes in 4 colors including black which I love too!  The price point of this top AMAZING – only $69 – making it a definite wardrobe must-have!  The sizes are limited in the burgundy shade, luckily it’s fully stocked in the black which would be my next choice and some sizes in the 2 other patterns which are super cute too.  When it gets cooler out this look would be perfect with a black leather jacket thrown on top.

I also want to mention that I meant to wear my favorite black lace bra with this top.  It’s more of a combo of a bandeaux and a lace bra so it’s really pretty, yet it’s super comfortable!  I wear it all the time with low cut tops and button downs, the black lace on top just peeks through so it’s subtly sexy and uber chic!  If you don’t already own a Coobies bra you need one in black and nude for sure!  I couldn’t live without mine!!
