Meet My Blogger Sister

When I first started blogging a few years ago, I had a friend of mine tell me that I just had to meet Erin Busbee of Busbee Style, the gorgeous gal in these photos with me because she thought we looked like sisters!  I think we look a lot alike for sure, but what I was most excited about was meeting a new friend and fellow blogger.  Erin is AMAZING and just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside!  She has a fabulous You Tube channel as well – Busbee TV, where she talks about all things fashion – a definite must see!

We thought it would be fun to show all of you 2 different ways to style a black leather jacket, because let’s face it – a black leather jacket is an absolute must have in every wardrobe.  They’re so versatile and can be styled so many ways.  I love how Erin paired hers with a chic black jumpsuit and block heel mules, a more classic look perfect for lots of occasions such as the office, church, or a luncheon.  As I’m sure you’re not surprised if you’ve been reading my blog for a while now, I went a bit more on the edgy side by pairing my black leather jacket with ripped jeans and a lace cami – perfect for a date night or girl’s night out.  The exact leather jacket I’m wearing is by Iro, I purchased it a while back on sale.  I linked a similar Iro jacket from Intermix that I love here.  Iro makes the absolute best leather jackets, the leather is buttery soft and you won’t find a jacket that fits as amazing as this one.  However, I realize Iro is expensive so I found this one by Blanknyc (a favorite brand of mine) from Nordstrom.  The price point is AMAZING – ONLY $98 for this edgy and chic faux leather jacket.  I’ve tried this jacket on and it looks and feels like real leather and fits nicely too – I tried on an XS and it fit perfectly.  I also linked 2 others below, both under $100 that are great finds!   I highly recommend adding a black leather jacket to your wardrobe – you’ll want to wear it all season long, trust me!
