HAPPY NEW YEAR BEAUTIES!! I want to take this moment to thank each and every one of you for your support, kind words and comments! It’s because of all of YOU that I get to do what I love and make a living while doing it, So THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! I wish you a very blessed 2023 and remember YOU are in control of your destiny and YOU are in charge of your own happiness.
The most important lessons I learned in 2022 after going through a divorce were these:
- YOU CAN’T CHANGE OTHER PEOPLE, YOU CAN ONLY CHANGE YOURSELF AND SOMETIMES THAT MEANS CHANGING YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES.
- LIFE IS ONE BIG LESSON SO LEARN FROM EACH ONE AND MOVE ON.
- CHANGE IS HARD BECAUSE OUR BRAINS OUR HARD-WIRED TO RESIST IT BUT SOMETIMES IT IS NECESSARY TO GET TO A BETTER PLACE.
- GOD IS MY SOURCE AND AS LONG AS I LEAN ON HIM EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT FOR MY GOOD.
Now, let’s get to the meat of this post: WHAT TO WEAR WHEN YOU THINK YOU HAVE NOTHING WEAR! My answer is this: an all-black ensemble topped with one of your favorite jackets. Yep, it’s that easy. Whenever I wake up and I’m stuck on what to wear (yes, this even happens to me on occasion!) I always choose this simple outfit formula and it works every single time. I’m wearing an XS and find the oversized fit super comfy; I also love the luxe gold buttons at the sleeves and the one-button closure.
AGOLDE BLACK JEANS:
I’ve been in love with these black jeans from Agolde for a while now, and this vintage wash is my new fav! I love these jeans because the high waist creates a fantastic slimming effect and the fit is impeccable. I’m wearing a size 24 waist in this fabulous vintage denim.

This is seriously the SOFTEST Moto jacket ever! I’m totally obsessed and it acts as a perfect 3rd layer in my outfit formula. I love the oversized lapels and the color is perfect for year-round wear. I’m wearing an XS in this winter wardrobe staple from Evereve.

The cropped fit is very on trend right now and the double breasted closure can be very slimming if paired with the right pants. I’m wearing an XS in this fabulous blazer that will take you from the office to GNO in snap!
