To me, there is nothing more stunningly beautiful than wearing a head-to-toe winter-white look! I know, I know, you might be saying “wait I thought you couldn’t wear white after labor day”. Well, that is a fashion rule that can and should be broken in my book! An all-white winter ensemble is so chic for several reasons. First, it stands out in the sea of black that most people tend to gravitate towards during the colder months. Second, it always looks more lux than it really is (as any monochromatic look typically does). Finally, if you do it right you will definitely be one of the best-dressed guests in any room!
You may be wondering how to pull off an all-white winter outfit and if you are then you’ve come to the right place. 1) MIXING TEXTURES IS KEY:
Mixing textures is a fantastic way to create interest in an otherwise monochromatic look. Mixing materials such as faux leather, faux fur, and knits will break up the outfit and help define the different sections of your look. I personally love to throw a fabulous faux fur coat over my all-white winter looks as I feel that it’s the perfect 3rd layer to create a cozy vibe while introducing a new texture to the ensemble.
2) ALWAYS ADD ACCESSORIES:
You can never forget the accessories when styling a look, and this rule is essential when styling a monochrome outfit. Because your entire outfit can act as a base layer, your jewelry will stand out even more than usual, making those items the highlight of your winter ensemble. Included in this post are a few of my all-time favorite accessories, such as this Saint Laurent two-tone chain necklace that allows you to include both silver and gold tones in the rest of your accessory picks.
3) DON’T BE AFRAID TO MIX YOUR SHADES OF WHITE/IVORY:
This is probably the MOST IMPORTANT tip of the 3 I’m sharing today! So often when I see all-white winter looks, every shade of white is exactly the same, which makes all the individual pieces blend in with each other. This is actually the OPPOSITE of what we want! Incorporating different shades of white and ivory is another great way to create interest in an otherwise monochrome look. I encourage you to give it a try and see what you come up with, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised!
ALICE AND OLIVIA FAUX FUR BLAZER:
This faux fur blazer from Alice & Olivia has been my go-to white faux fur coat this winter season, and for good reason! The oversized fit is super flattering and makes this blazer-style coat feel VERY cozy. I also love the casual one-button closure. I’m wearing a size 0 in this winter wardrobe must-have for when you’re contemplating how to wear winter white.
AGOLDE FAUX LEATHER PANTS:
These ivory faux leather pants are by far my MOST WORN pants when I want to wear an all-white winter ensemble. The faux leather is surprisingly soft and supple and is actually made of 50% recycled material. I’m wearing a size 24 in these amazing faux leather pants.

IVORY SWEATER DRESS:
A super easy way to go when contemplating how to wear winter white is to opt for a cozy, chic sweater dress like this one from Revolve. VEGAN LEATHER PANTS ON SALE:
Faux leather pants are having a huge moment right now, which is why I’ve featured more than one pair in this post. The super high waist is incredibly flattering and they also happen to be 50% off right now, making them under $50. If you haven’t tried this trend yet, this is great way to give it a whirl without a huge investment. I’m wearing a size 0 regular and I find they fit true to size.

How fabulous is this feather-style faux fur jacket from Revolve?! This is one of my favorite third layers to wear with an all-white winter look.
