LOOK 2 of NYFW

Another ‘Streed Edit’ is here with my good friend and fellow Dallas Fashion Blogger, Tiffany Davros, of Street Style Squad.   This was what we wore on Day 2 of New York Fashion Week to the Veronica Beard fashion show. 

The Veronica Beard show was my absolute favorite fashion show we attended during NYFW.  Veronica Beard is an amazing line known for their dickey blazers, their line portrays the perfect balance between classic and cool.  I chose to wear my favorite Veronica Beard blazer to the show.  What makes it so special is that you can change out the dickey or the insert in the blazer and it makes it look like a totally new blazer.  I’m wearing my favorite leather moto dickey, it adds a bit of edge to the blazer which I LOVE!  They have tons of other dickeys or inserts, I’m really coveting the camo dickey and the striped dickey is super cool too.  My Veronica Beard blazer is probably my most versatile jacket hanging in my closet, a wardrobe staple that I’ll be wearing for many seasons to come.

A black blazer is a definite closet staple that every woman should have in her wardrobe.  I realize this one is expensive,  so I found a great look alike for a fraction of the price – this amazing black blazer by Halogen, a fabulous brand from Nordstrom.  A black blazer can be worn tons of ways, try pairing it with a pair of flare jeans and some platform heels for a fun GNO or for a great office look pair it with a chic pencil skirt and your favorite pair of heels.  A black blazer is a great addition to any wardrobe, trust me, it’s worth the investment.
