When I first started blogging a few years ago, I had a friend of mine tell me that I just had to meet Erin Busbee of Busbee Style, the gorgeous gal in these photos with me because she thought we looked like sisters! Erin has become a good friend of mine and when ever I have a question about blogging she’s who I ask, she’s not only extremely smart, but she’s a very caring and sincere person and she’s just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside! She has a fabulous You Tube channel as well – Busbee TV, where she talks about all things fashion and lifestyle – a definite must see!

We both fell in love with glamorous velvet kimono, it came in blush pink as seen on me and black as seen on Erin. Unfortunately, the pink one is sold out, but the black is still available and I love that color just as much! In fact, this kimono is so good I actually got it in BOTH colors because the price point is AMAZING – only $52.90, WHAT A STEAL ! It looks amazing paired with skinny jeans and some fun heels for a date night or girl’s night out, but I also love it paired with a simple tee and some chic cut-offs for a more casual ensemble. This gorgeous velvet kimono would be a great addition to any wardrobe, the perfect piece to glam up anyone’s closet up a bit!
My jeans are by Good American, a newish denim line started by Khloe Kardashion, and they’re AMAZING!!! Hands down my favorite denim purchase I made from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. They’re high-rise, form fitting hugging your body in all the right places and super flattering! I really love the un-even raw edge hem, so edgy and on trend. I took my regular size in these jeans, I’m wearing a size 0 or 25.
I’ll be donating $500 from my Nordstrom Anniversary sales to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation. I lost my sweet Dad 6 years ago to this terrible disease and I know a lot of dear family and friends who have lost loved ones to Cancer so helping find a cure is close to my heart.
