Sometimes it’s best to save some of the more expensive items for the Christmas list! Today I’m going to be sharing some designer pieces to splurge on and look-alikes to steal in this steal vs. splurge post. Black Leather Jacket

STEAL Jacket: This Blanknyc collarless faux leather moto jacket by Nordstrom is so chic and flattering! Can you believe it’s only $98? I especially love the rib details on the sleeves. There are so many ways you can style moto jackets like these. This jacket also comes in a beautiful fawn color.

SPLURGE Jacket: There is so much to love about this Madewell washed true leather moto jacket. Not only is this jacket genuine leather material, it’s also gently textured making it ultra soft and comfortable! This piece also comes in a camel color.

Black Jeans

STEAL Jeans: Talk about a great deal! These super high waisted black jeans are half off right now at less than $50! As you’ve heard me say before, high waisted jeans like these make you look 5 pounds slimmer and can be styled so many ways. I really love the unique button detailing in the front making these jeans look chic and sexy.

SPLURGE Jeans: These ankle length high rise jeans are amazing and definitely worth the investment! Similar to the denim above, these jeans also have button detail on the pockets and in the front. You can always trust Neiman Marcus to carry comfortable denim. These run true to size!

Snakeskin Boots

STEAL Boots: Snakeskin has made a major appearance this fall, and I am loving it! These knee-high snakeskin-embossed leather boots are nothing but perfect. Pair these with a fall skirt or dress and you’ll be ready for a fun night out! I am obsessed with the pointed toe and stiletto heel exuding sleek elegance.

SPLURGE Boots: Though a definite splurge, how can you resist these Jimmy Choo snake-print boots made in Italy?! These stilettos have a high heel and tall knee height making them so chic and classy.

Black Handbag

STEAL Handbag: This designer handbag steal by Rebeca Minkoff is one of my all time favorites! I highly recommend investing in a cross body purse because they are so functional and versatile. I especially love this black color because it goes perfectly with all outfits and can be worn year round.

SPLURGE Handbag: This lambskin gold and silver-toned Chanel bag is one of the prettiest purses ever! Though this piece is definitely a splurge, it’s something I wear a ton with a variety of outfits. I love this purse so much because of its everlasting value and originality.

Sunglasses

STEAL Glasses:Not only are these aviators simple and fashionable, they remind me so much of the Gucci splurge sunglasses below (but for 1/4 of the price)!! Inspired by JLO, these aviators are designed to flatter a diverse variety of face sizes and shapes. Well under $100, these Quay aviators are some of my go- to shades!

SPLURGE Glasses: If you are wanting to treat yourself to a pair of designer sunglasses, these would definitely be the pair I recommend. Gucci makes some of the best polarized aviators – both stylish and chic. I love the polished gold finish and smooth black accents. These shades are guaranteed to match whatever outfit you have on!
