I’m 48 And These Are My 3 Favorite Fall Fashion Trends

As I’ve gotten older I’ve gotten more particular about what I wear and how I style it. I don’t feel like I have to try ALL the trends, in fact, there are typically only a few I actually wear each season. If you’re unsure about a trend, I suggest you try this simple style tip.
SEE HOW YOU FEEL WHEN YOU WEAR THE TREND!
If you feel amazing and confident then by all means WEAR IT, no matter your age. However, if you FEEL even a little uncomfortable then don’t wear it, simple as that! The following 3 fall fashion trends of 2022 are some that I’ve worn, loved, and felt confident doing so which is why I deem them my current favorites! I hope you love them as much as I do!

MY 3 FAVORITE FALL FASHION TRENDS OF 2022:
1. WEARING ALL BLACK:
This is definitely one of the best fall fashion trends of 2022 and one of my favorite styles over all. Nothing is more classy and sophisticated than a woman wearing all black in my opinion! It’s also an easy outfit formula when you’re standing in front of your closet with that dreaded “I don’t know what to wear” feeling. The best part of dressing in all black is how much fun you can have with your accessories; For an example, how I paired the Bottega Veneta bag and my zebra heels in the look above. The combo of this off the shoulder top and the distressed black denim is a perfect backdrop for your favorite statement piece.
$58 ONE SHOULDER TOP:
This fitted, one shoulder top has amazing rouching details throughout that make the fit super flattering. I also love the subtle sexy vibe that the off-the shoulder design brings to the overall look. I’m wearing an XS in this fall fashion statement piece.
AGOLDE BLACK JEANS:
I find a good pair of high-waisted black jeans is a must have in any fall wardrobe, and these would be my go to! They are perfectly distressed for my taste and the fit is amazing. I’m wearing a size 24 in these slimming jeans.

2. OVER-SIZED MOTO JACKETS:
I have to admit, if I had to pick my absolute favorite trend of the 3, this would have to be it! Leather jackets are my all-time favorite thing to wear because they are edgy, yet classic and timeless. The oversized style is very forgiving, just be sure not to go too oversized or you can end up looking frumpy. I recommend using my rule of balance when styling an outfit with an oversized jacket; Go for something more form fitting on the bottom like a bodycon dress or a fitted pair of flares, just like I did above. Utilizing a few of my style tips will have you rocking this trend all the way to end of 2022 and beyond!
BLACK LEATHER JACKET WITH GOLD HARDWARE:
This option by Versace is the perfect over-sized fit in my opinion! I’m wearing a size 36 which gives my 5’2 frame the perfect amount of coverage without drowning me in fabric. I’ve been on the hunt for a good leather jacket with stylish gold hardware so when I saw this one I was immediately drawn to it! It has the most stunning gold details that really make this jacket stand out.
BUDGET FRIENDLY VERSION:
The Versace jacket is definitely on the higher end budget wise, so if you need something with smaller price tag, look no further! All Saints FINALLY made a black leather jacket with gold hardware and I am so here for it! This jacket is amazing and I can guarantee you will be thrilled with this more affordable option.

3. BAGGY DENIM:
It took me a bit to get used to this trend, but I have to say I am loving it now. I find the key when choosing a pair of baggy jeans is to make sure the rise is high-enough to make your legs look long! Another tip is to pair baggy jeans with a fitted top to balance out the look, just like I did with the fitted corset top I chose. Last but not least, ALWAYS wear a heel of some sort to take your baggy jeans from frumpy to fabulous! I guarantee you will have success with this trend by implementing these simple style tips.
MOUSSY JEANS:
These jeans are actually a brand new fit Moussy has just come out with! They’re called the Ashley fit and they feature a high-waist with a straight leg and the perfect bagginess to knock this trend out of the park. I’m wearing a size 24 and they fit perfect so I would say they fit true to size.
