8 MAKEUP TIPS AND TRICKS:
1.) USE MAGIC CREAM:
I’m obsessed with my Magic Cream moisturizer by Charlotte Tilbury! Using a moisturizer makes your face look more luxe, more glowy, healthier, and younger. Charlotte Tilbury does make up for tons of celebs and Victoria Secret models including Jennifer Anniston and Kate Moss! She is the queen of makeup. Her Magic Cream is super moisturizing and allows your foundation to go on beautifully! I highly recommend this beauty product to anyone!
2.) WEAR EYELINER THAT IS DARKER ON TOP AND LIGHTER ON BOTTOM:
I recommend using eye liner that’s darker on the top and lighter on the bottom for a more youthful look! The reason this will make you look younger is that anytime you have something lighter on the bottom it lifts and lightens your eyes which looks so gorgeous. Charlotte came out with this double eyeliner stick making it easy to know which goes on top and which goes on the bottom. It’s a really beautiful dark purple color that looks so good with any eye color. Also, it goes on so smoothly which I love! After my eyeliner, I apply my all-time favorite lash primer and mascara on my top and bottom lashes!
3.) USE CONCEALER AFTER APPLYING EYE SHADOW:
Since eye shadow falls down when applying it to the eyelid, you want to always apply it first. I use a Charolette Tilbury palette for my eye shadow. This one comes with a highlighter, bronzer, eye shadow, and cheek color – all in one! I even use some of the cheek colors as my eye shadow because I want it to be a bit warmer. This is the perfect palette to travel with because everything is in one spot! As far as a concealer, I love using this broad spectrum one by Clea De Peau. Always make sure you’re applying your concealer to where your circles are the darkest! This concealer has plenty of coverage, which I love! Also, always set your concealer after applying – I always use a Trish Mcevoy setting powder.
4.) APPLY BRONZER IN THE SHAPE OF A 3:
I love my bronzer by MAC! I always like to use an angled brush when applying my bronzer because it really accentuates underneath the cheekbone! I highly suggest concentrating under the cheekbone when applying. You want your bronzer to look like a natural shadow underneath your cheekbone and well-blended. To form the “3 shape,” apply to the top of the forehead, the bottom of the cheekbone, and the jawline. I always choose a bronzer that doesn’t have an orange tone because this will make you look older!
5.) APPLY HIGHLIGHTER IN THE RIGHT PLACES:
I use the same Charlotte Tilbury palette I mentioned above to apply my highlighter – it’s a stunning color! Apply it on top of your cheekbone and blend it up since this will pull the face up to look more youthful! I also apply it to the bridge of my nose and the Cupid’s bow which will make your face look more lifted. Also, I apply it to the corners of my eyes to make them look brighter! These tips should help you achieve a more youthful look.
6.) USE A LIP LINER SLIGHTLY DARKER THAN YOUR LIPSTICK COLOR:
For a lip liner, I personally use pillow talk 2 by Charlotte Tilbury that’s a gorgeous medium pink color! I’m not a huge fan of nude or light lip colors, so this one is just perfect. I normally fill in the lip area because it helps your lipstick stay on longer and the lips look fuller! Then, I add my pillow talk 2 lipstick on top of the lip liner. It’s a beautiful pink-brown color that’s so natural looking. Then, to make my lipstick stay on, I use a lip stain called Walk This Way by Nars that’s a bit pinker than the lip color. I’m a huge fan of pink glosses and stains in the spring and summertime.
7.) APPLY LIP GLOSS TO THE CENTER OF YOUR LIPS:
The reason I apply gloss to the center of my lips only is that this makes the lips look fuller and gives the pout that everyone desires. Gorgio Armanie lip gloss is my all-time favorite! You can wear it by itself or wear it over your lipstick – both options are beautiful! It’s so easy to apply and it gives your lips a beautiful sheen no matter what color it goes over! Also, this gloss doesn’t make your lipstick smear off at all!
8.) ALWAYS COLOR IN YOUR BROWS:
My absolute favorite brow pencil is Tom Ford Taupe for blondes. There are so many shades to choose from of course! I love this one because it’s angled and goes on very easily. It comes with a little brush so I always brush my brows upward before applying the pencil color. Again, lifting the face can truly make a huge difference. I apply along with the shape of my brow and follow that shape! This brow pencil really accentuates the eye and brings the whole face up which is the end goal!
