I’m super excited to be teaming up with my favorite department store, Nordstrom, to bring all of you 5 TYPES OF WINTER COATS you need to get you through the winter season in style and comfort!
I love fall for many reasons, one of them being all the amazing fall clothes we get to wear, like chic faux fur coats, boots, scarves, and cozy sweaters! With the cold weather finally here, now is the perfect time to add a winter coat to your wardrobe. I’ve hand picked my 5 favorite winter coats all from Nordstrom sure to keep you looking stylish while still staying warm!
NUMBER 1: THE FAUX FUR COAT 40% OFF – This is probably my favorite type of winter jacket, in fact, I think it’s safe to say that I’m literally obsessed with faux fur jackets! They’re glamorous and ultra chic, yet they do a great job of keeping you warm! I adore this leopard one by Vince Camuto (AND IT JUST WENT ON MAJOR SALE, ORIGINALLY $199 MARKED DOWN TO $119.40) , it’s super soft and I love the longer length! I would wear this coat so many places, to church, on a date, a girls night out, the possibilities are endless because this leopard coat is so versatile. If you only add one winter coat to your wardrobe this season, let it be this one, it will take you many places in style while still keeping you warm! The best part, it’s very reasonably priced, yet extremely high quality! It runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS.
NUMBER 2: THE PUFFER JACKET: I love puffer jackets and this one I found by S13 is amazing! I live in my puffer jacket on the weekends because it’s super casual and looks great with jeans and casual booties or sneakers. It comes in 5 colors, (I just ordered the silver so stay tuned for that post) and the price point is amazing! It’s currently on SALE, originally $195 marked down to $129.90, quite a steal for such an amazing jacket!
NUMBER 3: THE BOMBER JACKET: The perfect jacket for days when it’s not extremely cold, but you still need a light weight jacket. I wear bomber jackets a ton with a simple tee and distressed denim. In the colder months I love pairing them with a turtle neck and a chic scarf.
NUMBER 4: THE LEATHER JACKET: My second favorite jacket to wear in the fall and winter behind the faux fur jacket! A leather jacket is a wardrobe staple no doubt. When it’s really cold out trying wearing it over a chunky sweater paired with a fun scarf!
NUMBER 5: THE RAIN JACKET: A necessity for sure, it’s sometimes hard to find a really cute rain jacket, but after scouring the website this is my favorite one by far! It’s super chic and the price can’t be beat!
DETAILS REGARDING MY OUTFIT:
My black jeans are by Rag & Bone, they run small so order one size up, I’m normally a 25 and I got a 26 and they fit perfectly! These jeans are high-waisted so they make your legs look crazy long and they’re so comfortable! I would say these are one of my top 3 most slimming pairs of jeans in my closet making them a definite must-have!
My black satin top is long sleeved, wrinkle free and on major sale, originally $45 marked down to $27.90! I’ll be wearing this top under all of my favorite jackets this winter! It comes in 5 gorgeous colors, I love the green also, and runs tts, I’m wearing a size XS.
