3 STYLE TIPS THAT MAKE YOU LOOK TALLER AND SLIMMER + A FEATURE IN D MAGAZINE

I love mixing a feminine piece such as this chic lace top with something a bit more edgy like my faded denim jeans!  This top comes in 2 colors – this gorgeous spice pink shade and a beautiful off white color, you can’t go wrong with either one!  I chose the pink because I think this shade of pink looks really good on blondes, but can certainly be worn by brunettes too.  This top is only $49, quite a steal for such an amazingly chic top!  This top runs small so order one size up, I’m wearing a size SMALL.

STYLE TIP 1:   I tucked just the front half of this top in to make my legs appear longer and even slimmer, a great style tip for those of us who aren’t super tall!

STYLE TIP 2:  For those of us who are petite (5’4 or under) wearing sky high platforms is a sure fire way to look and feel taller and even slimmer!  I almost always wear heels, I feel taller, slimmer and even more confident when I wear heels, how about you?  Platforms are a great way to give you the height you want and still be somewhat comfortable.  I’ve handpicked my top favorite platform heels at various price points.  I highly recommend adding a pair of these stunning and flattering heels to your shoe wardrobe, you’ll be glad you did!

STYLE TIP 3:  Wear high-rise denim, trust me, once you try on a pair and see how flattering they are you’ll never want to wear your low-rise jeans again or not very often!  High-rise jeans draw the eye up higher on your waist line which makes your legs appear longer and anything that looks longer also appears slimmer!  So if you want to your legs to appear longer and slimmer opt for high-rise jeans, you’ll find yourself wanting to wear them all the time!

My platform heels were quite a splurge for me, but every once in a while it’s ok as long as it’s something you know you’ll wear a ton, so for the cost per wear they’re worth it!  They’re statement heels for sure and trust me, they make a statement!  They take any ordinary outfit to the next level. These fabulous heels look amazing with jeans, but will also pair well skirts and dresses too.  They’re actually super comfortable because of the massive platform which is always a plus.  I love the neutral color so much because they literally go with everything!  The ones I linked are a similar light pink shade which are also extremely versatile, the exact ones I’m wearing are sold out.  I also linked some blush pink platforms at a much lower price point that would pair well with this look too!

I paired this gorgeous lace top with these amazing high-rise jeans by Citizens of Humanity, I love the darker faded wash and the cropped raw edge hem line!  This darker wash is so versatile, they literally go with everything and they’re super comfy too!  These jeans run true to size, I’m wearing a size 25.  You can view another post I did in these exact jeans by clicking HERE.
