SHARING THE ONE JACKET THAT WILL MAKE ANY WARDROBE MORE FUNCTIONAL WITH NORDSTROM

Good morning friends!  I’m thrilled to be teaming up with my all-time favorite department store, Nordstrom to bring all you the most versatile jacket guaranteed to make any wardrobe more functional:  THE MOTO JACKET.   Nordstrom is my go-to place when I need edgy and affordable pieces like moto jackets, midi skirts, and killer heels.  Topshop is one of my favorite departments in Nordstrom to find all of these affordable and incredibly chic pieces!

SHOP MY LOOK: (EVERY PIECE I’M WEARING IS UNDER $100)

I believe a moto jacket is one of the top 2 most versatile pieces in any closet behind the blazer.  The reason is that there are numerous ways you can style a moto jacket as you will find if you peruse my previous blog posts or Instagram posts.

HOW TO WEAR A MOTO JACKET:

There are endless ways to wear a moto jacket proving it’s versatility and wearability!  Pair a moto jacket over a simple tee and jeans and you’ve just brought that look up several notches!    Wear it over a maxi dress, midi skirt, or even with a pair of sleek high rise jeans and I promise all of these looks with be taken to the next level of chicness!  In the fall and wintertime when the temps start to drop you can style a moto jacket over a cozy sweater along with jeans and some chic booties.  You can think of a moto jacket like the glue that will bring all of your looks together seamlessly and effortlessly so if you don’t already have one I highly recommend adding one to your jacket collection ASAP!

OUTFIT DETAILS:

The exact moto jacket I’m wearing is from the Topshop department in Nordstrom and I love this neutral color because it can be worn with so many color combinations.  If you’re wondering how to wear a moto jacket I love it paired with an all-black ensemble as I styled it in this post, but this light blush pink shade also looks fabulous paired with whites, grays, and light denim.  The faux leather on this jacket feels really good on and I love the silver hardware because it makes this jacket look way more expensive than it really is, would you believe it’s under $100?!  It does run big so size down one size, I’m wearing a US size 4 and wish I would have gotten the US size 2.

My slimming bodysuit is also from Topshop and it’s super flattering!  I love the lace detailing and the plunging neckline making this bodysuit perfect for a date night or girl’s night out.  The best part, it’s on MAJOR SALE making it only $17, quite a steal for such a sleek top!  It runs small, so order one size up.  I’m wearing a US size 4.

My $40 ribbed midi skirt is sexy and slimming and super comfortable!  I’ve mentioned many times before on my blog and on my YouTube channel that the midi skirt or dress is the most flattering for all ages because it covers our knees up which are one of the fastest aging parts on any women’s body.  This chic midi skirt is high waisted and I love the ribbed material and the side slit adds an edgy touch to this otherwise basic midi skirt.  Wear this chic midi skirt with a moto jacket, a fitted blazer, or even with a simple white tee and sneakers!  The possibilities are endless proving the versatility and wearability of this chic and affordable midi skirt!  It runs small so order one size up, I’m wearing a US size 4.

My snake print clutch was from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and it sold out, however, I found this one from the Topshop department at Nordstrom and it’s super chic and only $40!  A snake print clutch or bag adds the perfect amount of interest to any look and animal prints are very big this season so this bag is right on trend!
