GAME DAY ATTIRE

Another ‘Streed Edit’ is here with my good friend and fellow Dallas Fashion Blogger, Tiffany Davros, of Street Style Squad.  We thought it would be fun to show all of you what we would wear to a football game!  

College football season is here and I’ll admit it, I’m not the biggest college football fan around, but I sure do like to get dressed up to go to the games or to a watching party!  I actually graduated from the University of North Texas so I never really got into football because when I was there (I graduated in 1995) their football team wasn’t all that great.  However, I pretty much had to become an avid football fan the day I started dating my husband, he might the biggest college football fan on the planet and his team of choice is ALABAMA – ROLLTIDE!  I never really became a full fledge BAMA fan until this year when my sweet son, Tyler, started college there as a freshman!!  I’m so excited for him and I miss him a ton for sure!  As a Mother, sending him and my step-son, Wyatt, off the college this year was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do – so many mixed emotions!  Now onto my outfit, 2 important things to keep in mind when dressing for a football game:

1.)  DRESS ACCORDING TO THE WEATHER:  If it’s super hot out make sure you choose a loose fitting top or dress that breathes well.  If it’s freezing outside wear tons of layers to keep warm because there is nothing worse than being super hot or cold while trying to watch a football game.

2.) WEAR COMFORTABLE SHOES:  I battle with this often because I LOVE to wear heels, I just feel better and more myself when I have a pair of heels on.  So, I always try and find comfortable heels for situations like this where I’ll be doing a ton of walking and actually NEED a comfortable pair of heels.  Luckily, the block heel is a big trend right now and I’m loving it because they  are super chic AND comfy!
