Happy Monday! I hope all of you had a fabulous weekend! I’m writing this post on November 16th, it’s my 44th birthday, I’m so grateful to be alive and healthy and for all of YOU! I started this tradition last year and I’m going to continue it as long as I have my blog! I’m sharing 44 things I’m thankful for in today’s post!
1.) My God and the relationship I have with Him, it’s because of HIM that I have all of the 44 things I’m thankful for!
2.) . My family and all the love that we share everyday, and the hard times too!
3.) My wonderful children, the fact that 4 out of the 5 are in college and doing a great job of taking care of themselves!
4.) My husband, I love that he brings my flowers on occasion, but my favorite thing he does for me is bring my coffee in the mornings!
5.) Tova Sido, a dear friend of mine who just wrote the most amazing, heart felt book on her faith and tremendous loss and how she got through it. This book changed the way I look at life …. for the better! TRUST ME, it will change your life, you can purchase it HERE
6.) My blog and all of my readers, if it weren’t for you all I would have no blog!
7.) For all of the amazing companies that have had faith in me to collaborate with me, thank you!
8.) For my sweet dogs Lily and Scout
9.) My yoga practice, it helps me stay positive and fit
10.) Tennis and my wonderful team mates
11.) The wonderful friendships I have developed with other fellow bloggers, you know who you are and I love all of you so much!!!!
12.) Chocolate and pecan pie (My Dad’s Favorite too)
13.) The relationship I had with my Dad and all the sweet memories I have of him
14.) My wonderful Mother and all her wisdom and constant positive attitude
15.) The cards my kids still make me on Mother’s Day
16.) Healthy food that makes me feel good inside
17.) Janice – a sweet friend and my therapist who has helped so much!
18.) My love for fashion and willingness to want to share that with others for the sole purpose of helping them
19.) That my daughter and step daughter both pledged Kappa this year
20.) . For my hair dresser, James, he’s always got the best advice
21.) My brothers and how they make me laugh so much
22.) Jack my sweet nephew and his cute red hair and good hugs
23.) Madeleine, my beautiful and sweet niece who reminds me of me
24.) Carrie, Caroline, Anna and Andrea – All my sister-n-laws and all so kind!!
25.) Warm sunny days spent at the beach
26.) Sunday dinners with my family
27.) Cozy fires and red wine in the fall
28.) Banana Parfait and chai seed pudding – 2 of my favorite desserts
29.) My amazing high school friends – you know who you are and all of you will always be dear to my heart!
30.) The Message – a christian radio station I listen to in my car… always, it’s makes me feel good!
31.) My moms clam did and pork roast
32.) Tyler candles, Diva is the best scent!
33.) Traveling to California
34.) The opportunity Soma gave me and my Chic at Every Group, they are flying all of us to Miami in a few weeks!
35.) Orchids
36.) My home
37.) My church and our Pastor
38.) Mary Clayton and her bible study and our friendship
39.) Going to Oregon with my husband and our moms
40.) The fact my Mom is so healthy
41.) My health
42.) My castle hills friends, I miss all you so much!
43.) Allyson Johnson – my best friend, I love you!
44.) Deciding to spend 10 minutes every morning with God and making a gratitude list, this makes my days so much better when I do this!
Well, I feel really good after making that list! I challenge all of you to do the same and see how much it helps!

Now onto these amazing jeans that make your legs look crazy long! They’re by Hudson, one of my favorite denim designers, they’re made of that rigid denim so it’s a bit stiffer than the stretch denim which I like because they hold their shape very well! They’re high-waisted with a subtle flare at the bottom which is why they make your legs look so long! They run tts, I’m wearing a size 25. These jeans will be on major repeat for me this season and I’m sure if you get them they will be for you too!

My green cropped bomber jacket is also by Hudson and I’m obsessed with it! I love that it’s a bit over-sized yet it’s cropped so it’s very flattering. It looks amazing paired with high-waisted denim, but I’ve also worn it over my work out clothes. It also runs tts, I’m wearing a size XS. This versatile bomber jacket would be a great addition to any woman’s wardrobe!
