FALL BOOT EDIT + MUST-HAVE CAMO JACKET UNDER $100
in Fashion on 17/09/2018
If there’s one type of shoe that we all need in the fall it’s a good boot or bootie. I wear boots and booties a ton in the fall and winter so I’m always on the look out for one that not only looks amazing, but is comfortable and affordable! I’ve scoured all of my favorite on line stores to find you all the best fall ankle booties at all price points. The following 5 types of booties are the the best ankle booties for fall!
SHOP MY LOOK:
THE BEST FALL ANKLE BOOTIES
1.) METALLIC BOOTIE:
I love a metallic bootie because literally go with everything! I’m obsessed with these silver booties by Veronica Beard, they actually represent the metallic boot trend AND the western boot trend. They’re actually pretty comfy too for a heeled bootie, I know I’ll be wearing this a ton this fall and winter and I’m sure if you decide to get them you will be too. I’ve included some other silver booties at a lower price point, happy shopping!
You can never go wrong with a classic black ankle bootie AND THESE ARE 40% OFF and look very similar to some high end ones! I have several pairs and they’re always on high rotation for me in the fall and winter. Shop my favorite’s below at all price points.
3.) THE WESTERN BOOTIE:
Western vibes are everywhere this fall and after living in Texas for almost 40 years I’m also a huge fan of this trend! You don’t have to go all western in your looks, in fact, I don’t recommend it. I do recommend picking one piece of your look to represent this trend and one simple way is to wear an uber chic western inspired bootie.
4.) THE COMBAT BOOT:
I’m pretty sure I wore some very cool combat boots in the 8th grade, it’s so funny how trends come and go. Well, combat boots are back in a huge way! I honestly only love combat boots with a big chunky heel, other wise I think they look too masculine. Wear these with your favorite pair of ripped jeans, a simple tee and chic bomber jacket.
5.) THE STUDDED BOOTIE:
My favorite boot trend by far, the studded bootie! I’ll be wearing them with my favorite pair of jeans, and of course a leather jacket or faux fur jacket for the perfect fall look. A studded boot is the perfect way to incorporate a little edge into your looks!
My camo jacket is one of my favortie jackets I’ve added to my fall wardrobe! This camo print is so hot right now. Also, I love the cinched waist line, it makes this jacket very flattering! I love to pair it with pieces that are more feminine like my Gucci studded belt and metallic heeled booties to balance out the ruggedness of it.
The best part, it’s under $100, quite a steal for such a cool jacket!
My uber high waisted and ultra slimming jeans are by a new line of denim created by Alice & Olivia called AOLA. When I tried these jeans on I immediately fell in love! They’re super high-waisted, the rise is 11.5 inches instead of the normal 10 inch rise which is what most high waisted jeans are so they really make your waist look tiny and your legs look crazy long, who doesn’t want that?! I love the wash, sort of a faded black grayish wash which is my favorite wash of jeans because they go with EVERYTHING.
They’re not super stretchy so they do a great job of holding their shape and I love the little bit of distressing they have on the front pocket. The length is perfect too for me, I didn’t even have to have these hemmed like I usually do with most of my jeans so that was a plus! If your petite like me, 5’4 or under these jeans will be the perfect length! If you’re taller they’re amazing too, they will just hit you more above the ankle which is also a very flattering length. You can view the entire line of AOLA at Neiman Marcus by clicking HERE. I highly recommend adding these uber slimming jeans to your denim collection, trust me, you’ll find yourself wanting to wear them all the time, I know I do!
