Another ‘Streed Edit’ is here with my good friend and fellow Dallas Fashion Blogger, Tiffany Davros, of Street Style Squad.
I can’t believe the holidays are approaching, this year really did fly by! About this time of year I start to get a little stressed out about all the holiday shopping I have to get done – I do most of my shopping on line which makes it a ton easier! I want to make it easy for all of you too, so I now have my HOLIDAY SHOP up on my blog, you can click here to view the shop. With the holidays comes lots of parties and events, such a fun time of year, so Tiffany and I decided it would be the perfect time to show case velvet pants. Instead of wearing a dress or skirt to a party or event, velvet pants can be the perfect substitute, they are certainly dressy enough, chic, a bit edgy and effortless – the perfect combo! My black velvet jeans are by Citizens of Humanity, they’re high rise which I love, super comfortable and they run true to size (I’m wearing a size 25). I’ll be wearing my black velvet pants to all of my holiday soirees, and the best part is that you can pair them with different statement tops or jackets and make your outfit look totally different. I’m going to wear these velvet jeans on New Year’s Eve with this amazing metallic gold top! I highly recommend adding a pair of these chic velvet jeans to your wardrobe, they ‘ll take you to all of your holiday gatherings in style!
My blue top is another favorite of mine, I’ve already worn this top several times with ripped jeans and a leather jacket and by itself with gray jeans and my over the knee boots. It’s such a great price, $65 for this fabulous top! It runs a tad bit small so I would order one size up. I’m usually an XS in tops and I had to get a small in this one. I love the plunging neck line, it looks so good with a choker!
