10 FASHION HACKS ALL STYLISH WOMEN FOLLOW

Are you ready to learn about 10 of the most incredible style hacks EVER!? These are hands-down the 10 best style hacks I’ve picked up over the last 1o years of being a stylist and digital influencer – I can’t believe it’s been that long! I personally use almost every one of the fashion hacks on a daily basis and rest-assured they make getting dressed every single day so much easier for me and hopefully they will do the same for you. 10 BEST FASHION HACKS:

1. USE DAWN DISH SOAP TO REMOVE STAINS:

Who would have thought that dish soap would be good as a stain remover?! I got lipstick on the white part of this gorgeous statement-making zebra coat, and I used dawn dish soap and it came right out! Thank goodness because this is one of my favorite coats and it’s only $169 which is an amazing price. It runs true to size, I wear an XS.

2. ORDER PUMPS A 1/2 SIZE UP:

I have three pumps that I swear by – a black, a nude, and a leopard. All three of these I’ve ordered a half size up and then put a pad in them so that they don’t slip making them a million times more comfortable. In this look I’m wearing my go-to leopard pumps by Christian Louboutin – if these are out of your budget, I love these just as much by Sam Edelman.

3. PUT A BALL FOOT CUSHION PAD IN ALL OF YOUR PUMPS:

Placing a cushion into the ball of your heels will make them so much more comfortable and wearable you won’t even believe the difference! Anything us ladies can do to make heels and pumps more comfortable, we will do it without hesitation, right?! This is especially good if you’ve invested in a more expensive pair of pumps and haven’t been able to wear them because they’re uncomfortable!

4. PUT RUBBER SOLES PUT ON THE BOTTOM OF ALL OF YOUR PUMPS:

If you take your pumps to a shoe repair store to have rubber soles inserted, your shoes will be so much more comfortable and your feet won’t slip around in them. Deno’s in HP Village can put the rubber sole on or any shoe repair place and it makes the world of difference! If the pump has a slick sole, your foot might slip around in heels resulting in super uncomfortable blisters. This is such a great fashion hack I’m so glad I do with all of my pumps.

5. USE DOUBLE SIDED FASHION TAPE TO HOLD FABRICS IN PLACE:

I use double-sided fashion tape mostly when I’m wearing deep v-neck tops or jackets that won’t stay closed. This tape came in handy when I wore this gorgeous bodysuit which just so happens to be under $50 because it’s on major sale! It’s super easy to use and you just place it directly on the fabric and it sticks all day.

6. USE A HAIR TIE TO KEEP YOUR SLEEVES PUSHED UP:

I used this convenient trick to keep the sleeves up on this chic jacket. It’s a super simple trick that you’re bound to love! If you don’t want to actually roll your sleeves up on a blazer, simply wrap a hair tie around the sleeve and push it up your arm. Then, cover the hair tie with the fabric from your clothes and you’re done! I think blazers look effortless and chic with the sleeves scrunched and rolled up.

7. USE A STEAMER TO QUICKLY GET THE WRINKLES OUT OF YOUR CLOTHES:

If you don’t already have a steamer, you totally need one because it will save you on so many occasions! When you are in a hurry for a date night or girls night out and your clothes are wrinkled, a steamer will only take 2 minutes to make the wrinkles come out. I use this steamer pretty much every day and love how efficient and convenient it is!

8. SWAP OUT ALL OF YOUR HANGERS OUT FOR VELVET HANGERS:

I highly recommend switching out all of your plastic and wire hangers for these amazing velvet ones. These Joy hangers make all the difference in the world because your clothes will not slip off of the felt material and they are thin creating more space in your closet. Also, they are such a reasonable price and will completely change your life!

9. USE A PURSE ORGANIZER:

I don’t know why I didn’t get one of these purse organizers sooner because I am literally obsessed. As ladies, we know that no matter how organized we might be, our purses never are! This purse organizer can be easily inserted and removed from any purse you own and comes in 20 different colors. Not to mention it has a pocket and a place for everything! 10. USE FABRIC MARKERS TO TOUCH UP SHOES:

Last but not least, another surprising fashion hack I love because it’s so genius. Touching up your booties and heels with fabric markers comes in handy when part of your shoe has been chipped off or is missing. It’s so easy to touch up the tip or missing piece with a fabric marker of the same color and no one will ever know! I do say fabric marker over a permanent marker because they’re thicker and looks more professional.

BONUS TIP:

This is my personal favorite tip, it’s one I just learned about and I can’t wait to start trying it!  Hang all of your clothes facing the same direction, then when you wear something and hang it back up after wearing it, hang it in the opposite direction.  After a year look and see which items are still hanging in the original direction and these are the clothes you aren’t wearing so you can easily clean out your closet this way.  You can now get rid of all the clothes you haven’t worn in the past year and bring someone else joy while creating more space in your closet at the same time!  A win-win for everyone!
