EXPRESS TRY-ON HAUL: SHARING 5 AFFORDABLE FABULOUS LOOKS

Look No. 1 on my list of 5 affordable looks from Express features this gorgeous blue summer dress. Every time I wear this shade I get tons of compliments which has helped me realize that I am definitely suited to cooler shades. This dress comes in 4 other shades and I think my second choice would be the red! The material is wrinkle-free AND this dress is under $50! What more can a girl ask for? I’m wearing an XS and find it fits true to size.

If you’ve read any of my blogs this year then you know that both metallics and platforms are incredibly hot for 2023 and these shoes combine those 2 trends perfectly! I love the height they give me without the discomfort and because metallics are considered neutral, they are super easy to find complimentary accessories to go with. If you haven’t jumped on the platform trend yet, this is your sign to get on it!

This cropped leather blazer is so perfect for summer, it’s unbelievable! The color is the perfect shade of ivory IMO and I love the trending cropped length. The padded shoulders are another design element I’m seeing a lot of and I have to say I’m a fan! Obviously a far cry from what was popular in the 80s but I love what the modern version can do for your silhouette. I’m wearing an XS in this buttery soft faux leather blazer.

It’s no secret how much I LOVE these jeans; I own them in like 5 different washes because they’re just that good! As soon as I saw this tan wash I was hooked and they do not disappoint! The shade is perfect for summer and if you aren’t a fan of distressing on your jeans, these are a fabulous option. This next affordable look from Express features this gorgeous cropped blazer that pairs perfectly with a pair of jeans and heels. I chose this beautiful blue shade again but it also comes in vibrant green that I love. Express actually offers a pair of matching pants and shorts, so this would be a great choice for a matching set as well. I’m wearing an XS and find it fits true to size.

Is anyone else LOVING the wide-leg jeans trend!? I’m still smitten and I’ve done my fair share of searching for the right pair. The trick is to make sure they are fitted though the hip area and then bag out just beyond your thigh so you don’t end up swimming in fabric. They come in a light summer wash and these again have no distressing if that’s up your alley. I’m wearing a size 0 regular in these fabulous jeans.

This top is so elegant and classic I had to style a look featuring it. It comes in 3 other shades including black & white but this red shade is by far my favorite. Denim Midi skirts are the one denim trend reigning supreme this summer and I am so here for it. I LOVE a good denim midi skirt, and while the one I’m wearing above is unfortunately sold out, I’ve linked one here from Nordstrom that is just as good and is similar in price. The main thing to keep in mind when looking at different skirt options is to make sure you can walk in them! I know it sounds funny, but I tried on a few denim skirts without a slit in the hem and I could hardly take a step, let alone walk properly. You won’t have that problem with this skirt, so you can rest easy in that department!

This is another fabulous alternative from Revolve. I love the lighter wash and the stitching details that really elevate this denim midi skirt. A skirt like this is the perfect opportunity to show off a fierce pair of heels, so don’t be afraid to go big or go home!

Last but not least on my list of affordable looks from Express is this fitted ribbed tank. The high neckline and ribbed material make it look very expensive but in reality, it has a price tag under $30! It comes in all your basic neutrals and is the perfect everyday tank. I’m wearing an XS and find it fits true to size.
