My husband and I just got back from a much-needed vacation and we had the best time! We went to Cabo and stayed at one of our all-time favorite spots, Las Ventanas. In fact, we love it so much because we went there 13 years ago on our honeymoon and every time we go back we fall in love it even more! We were only there 3 nights so although it was a quick trip we made the most of our time there.
I’m sharing 6 chic looks perfect for your next beach vacation that I actually wore in Cabo. Some of the looks I wore to dinner are more dressy, and some are super casual and perfect to wear poolside or simply for walking on the beach. CUT-OUT MAXI DRESS:
I absolutely love this cut out dress, and it’s no surprise it’s on my list of chic vacation looks. The cut out detailing and the fact that it’s unlined allows for a decent amount of coverage without being too heavy or warm. I think it’s the perfect dress to wear to a high end restaurant while on vacation, which is exactly how I wore it on my recent trip! I’m wearing an XS in this gorgeous piece.
GREAT DUPE HERE:
The Way I Feel dress from Lulus is a FANTASTIC dupe for the Jana dress from Revolve that I’m wearing in my first look. It features adjustable spaghetti straps instead of full length sleeves, but it also is made of mid-weight knit fabric and has an almost identical cut-out pattern. The winning feature is probably the price as this dress retails for under $60!! Such a great value for a truly chic vacation look.
FREE PEOPLE KNIT SET:
This Free People sweater set teams up a cropped cable knit pullover with flared pants in a neutral palate that is right up my alley. The material is so comfy and soft, perfect to throw on after a day at the beach and the temperature drops as the sun goes down. I chose to accessorize with some silver tones, but gold tones would look just as fantastic, I’m wearing an XS for size reference.
PINK MIDI DRESS:
This gorgeous pink quartz metallic midi-dress from Staud is such a fun look and totally on trend for 2022 because of the use of such a bold color. It’s cut from lurex for a flattering bodycon fit, and you could wear this vacation-ready style with white accessories for a fantastic contrasting effect. I’m wearing an XS for size reference.
GOLD COVER-UP:
This cover up was perfect for my recent trip! we spent a lot of time walking the beach and around the resort and this cover up was the perfect item to throw over top of my suit. It is so chic and fun, and I just love the gold neutral shade because it can go with almost any style or color suit!
CAMILLA COVER-UP:
This Camilla cover up from Revolve is so beautiful and flowy, I definitely had to put together a chic vacation look featuring this gorgeous hand-beaded piece. I love a versatile item and this one doesn’t disappoint as it looks great over a swimsuit but I also love it worn as a kimono over a simple black dress.
