3 WAYS TO STYLE A DENIM SHIRT DRESS

I am SO excited about this piece! It has been a while since I have found something so versatile and so on-trend at the same time. This particular denim dress is by Alice and Olivia, and I especially love the versatile wash, it makes it so easy to style a denim on denim look, which is still a BIG trend in 2022. I have to admit I love styling this item as a dress, but my favorite way to style this item is as a statement-making trench coat! I’m wearing an XS for size reference, I find it fits TTS.

This long denim jacket by BLANKNYC is a great budget friendly option that could be worn with these jeans to create a similar look for less! It is important to note that this option may be more affordable, however you won’t have the same versatility as it would be difficult to style this item as anything other than a jacket.

These Veronica Beard jeans have been my go-to denim lately. I love the super flattering high-waisted, straight-leg silhouette and they are ACTUALLY comfortable to wear! I find they run a bit small so be sure to size up one size, I’m wearing a 25.

I adore the neutral shade, they serve as a great building block when styling a neutral outfit with a pop a color, which is a popular trend in 2022. These joggers look great with heels AND sneakers, and they’re actually slimming because of the high-waist and slim cut. I’m wearing an XS for size reference.

These faux leather joggers by Seven for All Mankind look very similar to the ones from Tootsies, but are a fraction of the price! This pair doesn’t have the pinstripe detailing down the front which can allow you to accessorize a bit more, and has a bunched waist for a more casual look. Either pair works great for this look on my list of 3 ways to style a shirt dress!

Last but not least, I love this piece styled as a simple dress too! Leave the top button un-done for a tastefully sexy way to wear it or leave it buttoned for a more classic and sophisticated look. This look is perfect to wear to a Sunday brunch or date night, it really can be dressed up or down, whatever you need. I especially love how the tie waist makes it incredibly slimming, pair it with a set of super chic strappy sandals and you can’t go wrong.
