Happy Wednesday Ladies! Things are getting downright chilly here in Dallas with the temperature dipping into the 40’s and 50’s over the next few days. This cold snap has got me thinking about cold-weather date nights and how they can actually be quite tricky to dress for! Your favorite LBD or a trending crop top won’t do the trick in the rain or snow, leaving you stuck in your closet with that dreaded feeling of ” what do I wear!?”
If you know what I’m talking about, I’ve got the answer to your prayers! Today’s post features a tastefully sexy winter date night look that will make a statement AND keep you comfortable. This entire outfit features fantastic items from Nordstrom, which is one of my favorite places to shop. UNDER $100 BLACK DRESS:
The first item in this fantastic winter date night look is this amazing turtleneck sweater dress. I love the side slit and the ribbed fabric makes this dress look far more expensive than it really is. With a price tag under $100 you can’t go wrong! I’m wearing an XS in this chic dress with a warm turtleneck that is perfect for winter weather.
BURGUNDY FAUX FUR JACKET (UNDER $100):
Burgundy is an incredibly hot color this holiday season, and for good reason! The rich shade reminds me of decadent holiday treats and REALLY good red wine, which feels so fitting for this time of year. The plush faux fur on this jacket is super soft and the high collar goes a long way toward keeping you warm AND stylish. I’m wearing an XS in this winter wardrobe essential.
YSL HOBO BAG:
You can never go wrong with a designer handbag, and this one from YSL is the gold standard. It’s a perfect size and the neutral black shade goes with almost anything. I also can’t get enough of the croc-embossed pattern that really elevates this bag to the next level. If your closet is in need of a go-to handbag, this is your winner!
BUDGET FRIENDLY VERSION:
If the designer version is out of your budget, don’t worry! This dupe is seriously so good, with a similar textured pattern and a chunky chain handle design. The best part has to be the price tag, which is just over $100 and often goes on sale for even less! Whatever your choice, either one of these bags will become your go-to purse in no time.
GOLD AND SILVER CHAIN NECKLACE:
This gold and silver chain necklace is a fantastic dupe to a certain designer necklace that I wear on repeat. However, this option has a much more budget-friendly price tag! For $150 you can have the best of both worlds and have unlimited options in both silver and gold tones when you wear this beauty. Topping off your winter date night look with this elegant necklace will up the class factor tenfold, I guarantee it!

The last item featured in my winter date night look is my latest love, these amazing lace-up heels by Bottega Veneta. They are a splurge for sure but when I considered the cost per wear, I figured they are well worth it! This style of heel is having a HUGE moment right now and is expected to continue on into 2023, so these heels will keep you on trend right through to next season!
BUDGET-FRIENDLY VERSION:
The steal alternative to the designer pair above is these lace-up heels by Jeffrey Campbell. I love the simplicity of the molded strap and the slim heel and pointed toe will make your legs look miles long! These do tend to run a bit small so I recommend sizing up a 1/2 size to make sure you get the best fit!
