Good morning ladies!  Can you believe New Year’s Eve will be in just 11 days?!  I personally can not believe it, this year has literally flown by!  Well if you wondering what to wear on NYE look no further, I’ve got you covered!  In today’s post, I’m giving you a few amazing outfit ideas featuring this stunning sequin blazer from Banana Republic styled 4 ways proving it’s versatility!  In case you’re wondering you CAN and SHOULD wear sequins all year round so this is a blazer that you will wear more than just once which means you will get your cost per wear out of it, especially when it’s ON SALE for only $100!

In honor of my friendship with my precious Chic at Every Age girls – (I literally love each of them to pieces and couldn’t imagine doing life without them) I’ve included some funny blooper photos below, they gave me a few laughs so hopefully they will give you some too!  Life isn’t always as it appears on the outside, especially on social media so don’t let our photos fool you.  We all have real lives, real challenges, and real struggles.  I’m personally going through one now so anything to take my mind off of what’s going on is good for me and what I need now.  Thank you for all of your support and for letting me do what I’m truly passionate about!

WHAT TO WEAR FOR NYE:

My first pick would be the outfit I’m wearing in this post.  This look is dressy enough to wear to almost any New Year’s Eve soiree unless of course, it’s a black-tie event in which case I would wear the green dress or the sequin maxi skirt from my YouTube video.  I think this sequin blazer would be perfect to wear on New Year’s Eve but really any time of year!  I’ve worn my sequin blazer on date night, girl’s night out, and even to a fashion event and I got so many compliments on it by the way!  If you want a statement piece that’s affordable, a definite head-turner, and one you can wear all year round this sequin blazer from Banana Republic is your answer!  It runs true to size, I’m wearing a size 0.

Another no-fail item that will work on New Year’s Eve are my slimming leather pants by J Brand.  They’re an investment piece no doubt but well worth it when you consider the cost per wear.  I’ve had them for years and worn them to many different events proving their versatility.  They’re so good that I included them in one of my latest YouTube videos titled:16 PIECE FALL CAPSULE WARDROBE.  The leather is buttery soft and really molds to your body so they’re actually comfortable as opposed to many other leather pants I tried on that were very stiff.  They’re also very slimming because they’re high-waisted which means they will make your legs look longer and slimmer – always a plus!  They run true to size, I’m wearing a size 25. If these are out of your budget, no worries, I love this faux leather option by 7 for all Mankind!

My black bodysuit is so good I have it in white too and I wear it a ton under all of my jackets!  Since it’s a bodysuit you don’t have to worry about it coming untucked and the luxe satin material makes this bodysuit the perfect piece to layer under any ensemble, dressy or casual!  It runs true to size, I’m wearing a size XS.
