My go-to look that you would most likely see me in if you ran into me on the street is a pair of ripped jeans, a casual jacket, simple tee, and semi-comfy heels. I would call this my fall uniform, I feel most like myself when I wear outfits like this, how about you? I used to tell my clients (back when I was doing personal styling) and I’ve said this on my blog many times: Wear what you feel most confident in, because confidence is the best accessory a woman can wear! And for me I feel most confident in jeans, heels and a jacket so that’s why I wear it so much! Find what YOU feel most comfortable and confident in and build your wardrobe around that, I promise you’ll feel better everyday when your deciding what to wear.
This casual and chic utility jacket is from Nordstrom, it’s super soft and comfy, yet very flattering. I love that it’s a bit on the shorter side so for petite woman like me (5’4 and under) it’s the perfect length, although it will work for taller woman as well as seen on the model. This easy casual look could be worn to a kids sporting event, but I would swap out the heels for some cool sneakers or to run errands in or even to a casual lunch or dinner date. This fabulous utility jacket also comes in a dark gray color which I love too and would be very versatile as well. It runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS. The best part, this amazing jacket is only $79, quite a steal for such a cute jacket!
My white tee is only $17, yes only $17 and it’s SUPER SOFT, the distressed edges which I’m sure you can’t see from the photos are super cool too! Lately, I’ve been tying my tees in a knot at the bottom, a great way to add a cool twist to a simple tee and this tee is perfect for that! It comes in 6 colors including black which I have too, this is the perfect tee to layer under all of your favorite jackets and at this price you can get one in every color!
My super slimming black jeans are by Citizens of Humanity, they’re one of my new favorite’s, I love the distressing and they’re also very comfy! I took mine to my tailor and had them cut the bottom to a step raw edge hem (making the hem shorter in the front). They run true to size, I’m wearing a size 25. My black velvet heels in look one are by Vince Camuto, one of my favorite shoe designers, he makes high quality shoes at affordable prices, what else do you need for the perfect shoe?! These black velvet ankle strap heels look very sexy on the foot and are minimal which I love because that means they literally go with everything! The best part, these heels are amazingly comfortable because of the block heel and the heel height is only 3.5 inches. They come in 17 colors, yes they do, and they’re under $100!
