Happy Monday gorgeous ladies! I hope all of you had an amazing weekend!
I just got back from a 10 day trip to Paris and Italy and I had the most amazing time! Gladly, I went with my husband for our 10 year anniversary. In case you’re thinking about going or are just curious about what we did and where we stayed I’m going to give you all a complete travel guide to Paris and Italy and all the fun details from our trip. I’ll of course share all of my outfit details with you too! The one item I couldn’t have lived without while traveling were my comfy sneakers, I think I wore them almost everyday!
TRAVEL GUIDE TO PARIS AND ITALY
First we took a direct to Paris which took about 9 hours. We left at about 6 pm and arrived in Paris the next day around 2:30 pm, there is a 7 hour time difference but it wasn’t too bad adjusting to thank goodness! Also, we had a tour planned that day with a guide to a beautiful museum called The Musee D’Orsay and it was absolutely stunning and definitely worth going to!! In addition, we stayed at the gorgeous Le Meurice hotel and I’ll have to say it is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stepped foot in. My favorite part was the all marble bathroom and the gorgeous chandeliers!
We ran into the actor Pierce Brosnan AKA James Bond and that was pretty amazing! Also, we had lunch and dinner on quaint cafe’s and always sat outside so we could people watch. Furthermore, we had a nice dinner one night in the restaurant inside of Le Meurice and the food was delicious and the atmosphere was stunning! I highly recommend eating at this hotel or at the very least having a drink in the bar, very cool decor in there as well!
The next day I got to shop, my favorite thing to do! I shopped on the most famous place to shop in Paris, Avenue des Champs Elysees. It had everything from Chanel to Dior to lower end shops like Zara and Castaner. Honestly, I loved people watching and of course I couldn’t help but notice what all the beautiful french girls were wearing which was usually straight leg. ‘Mom’ jeans, Castaner wedges or sneakers, paired with a crop top or a black leather jacket. I’ve always loved the ways Paris girls dressed, so simple yet so incredibly chic!
We went to the Eiffel Tower of course and it was even more
beautiful and amazing in person!
We took tons of fun photos and just enjoyed walking around the city this day. Also, we stopped off at several coffee shops and sipped on espresso’s which I LOVED and got everyday we were in Paris and Italy!
Paris was my favorite city we visited by far and hopefully I’ll get to go back and spend more time there. That is one thing I wish we had done is scheduled to have spent at least a few more days in this magical city!
The next day we were off to Venice. We took a gondala ride down the gorgeous canals which was my favorite thing we did there. In addition, we stayed at a beautiful hotel called Metropole and it was so fabulous! I highly recommend it! Frankly, I loved the decor and we ate at the restaurant inside of the hotel and it was one of the most amazing dining experiences I’ve ever had! The decor was so gorgeous, one of rooms was all pink with velvet couches and satin pillows. It was stunning!
The next day we headed to Rome which was a very
beautiful and historic city.
We stayed at Regina Baglioni Hotel and it was very beautiful and I loved the bar in this hotel. Very chic decor! Also, we went to the Colosseum and had a group tour which was pretty amazing, we used this place to book our tour. Moreover, we went to the Spanish Steps and perused and shopped on all the quaint and very busy streets right near the Spanish Steps. One of my favorite luxury shops I went into was called Gente. They had an amazing selection of designer shoes, beautiful clothes and accessories. And, We ate at random spots on the side of the streets to get an authentic feel of the city and every place we tried was amazing!
One of days we were in Rome we took a side trip to Tuscany and this was by far my favorite place and my husband’s too! The photo below of me in the pink blazer was taken on the vineyard, the views were just breath taking! We took a bus to a little town in Tuscany and did a cheese tasting which was so fun and delicious! Then we headed to an organic farm and enjoyed a home made Italian lunch with the best red wine and pasta I’ve ever put in my mouth! After that we headed to a gorgeous vineyard and did a wine tasting which was so fun!
