It’s that time again, our CHIC AT EVERY AGE series featuring THE WRAP DRESS AND HOW TO WEAR IT.

THE WRAP DRESS AND HOW TO WEAR IT

As you can see from our post there are numerous ways to style this chic wrap dress (THE COLOR I’M WEARING IS ON SALE FOR ONLY $26!!!)  Because of it’s extreme versatility it can easily be worn dressy or casual depending on what you pair with it.  Before I get into the various ways this dress can be styled I want to tell a little bit about this effortless dress.  It’s made of wrinkle free material that seems pretty high-quality meaning it’s thick and more substantial than you would think a $55 dress would be.  It has a little tie inside the waist of the dress so you can make it tighter or looser at the waist depending on your preference.  It comes in 4 colors and runs a little small (Topshop always does) so I suggest sizing up one size.  I’m normally a size 2 in a dress so I ordered one size up which is a a size US 4.

4 WAYS TO STYLE THIS CHIC WRAP DRESS:

1.)  ULTRA CASUAL:

Cathy of the The Middle Page (the red head) styled hers the most casual way pairing with a pair of white skinny jeans and some super fab wedges.  Cathy chose to wear jeans under this dress because it was a bit short for her liking and I love the way this look turned out!  This uber casual look could be worn on a day of errands, to lunch with your girl friends or a simple casual dinner out.

2.) SEMI CASUAL

Sam of Style of Sam styled it a bit less casual than Cathy, but more casual than Natalie or I pairing it with these super chic studded wedges and a must-have summer handbag.  This look could be worn to a summer party, to Sunday brunch, and even on a casual date night or fun GNO.

3.) SEMI DRESSY:

I styled mine this way pairing it with my go-to silver heels by Veronica Beard.  I adore these heels so much and wear them a ton because this silver shade literally matches everything and the heel height isn’t crazy high so they’re actually pretty comfortable.  I’m also carrying my new silver Dior handbag, a fun gift I bought myself while in Paris!  I linked a similar silver bag that I love and it’s on SALE for under $100!  I would wear this look on a date night, a fun GNO, and ever to church.

4.) ULTRA DRESSY:

Natalie of The Fashion Hour gets the prize for dressing hers up the most!  She paired hers with some chic nude heels and a gorgeous Gucci bag, I adore both of these items so much!  I think what makes her look a little dressier than mine is her fabulous earrings from Rachel Zoe’s Summer Box of Style.  Her look would be perfect for an evening party or event, a date night or girl’s night out.
