Capri pants are a huge trend this summer and I’ll have to say I was on the fence at first! How about you? Are you a fan of capri pants or no? I used to love capri pants when I was in my 20’s (think Cameron Diaz from “Something About Mary”) and I thought I wouldn’t like them now that I’m 50 but boy was I wrong! When I was in the Frame store the other day I tried these travel capri pants on and I was blown away at how flattering and COMFORTABLE they were! So needless to say I will be rocking this summer trend, how about you? If not, no worries there are 4 other amazing summer fashion trends in today’s post that I think you will love!

Let’s talk about Capris as the first trend on my list of the hottest summer fashion trends in 2024! As I said above I wasn’t sure I would want to wear this trend in my 50’s but I was sorely mistaken. If you opt for a form-fitting pair like this one from Frame I find they elongate your legs and you honestly can’t beat this level of comfort. I wear a size 0 in these incredibly comfortable capris from Frame and find they fit true to size.

MAXI HEMLINES:
Maxi hemlines are next on my list of the most viral summer fashion trends of 2024. If you’ve followed me for a while you know I love a good maxi skirt and this one by Camilla Coelho has so much going for it. The gorgeous neutral khaki shade, the slimming welt pockets, and the comfortable stretch fabric all combine to make the most flattering and crazy comfortable maxi skirt I’ve found in a long time. I wear an XS and it fits true to size.

TANK DRESSES:
Every woman needs an easy little black tank dress for summer and I love this one from Nordstrom. The ruching combined with the soft stretch cotton make the fit impeccable and the subtle side slit gives it a little something extra. The knit material makes it look far more expensive than it’s under $60 price tag and your accessory options are endless! I opted for a combination of metallic and raffia accessories for an on-trend yet understated look. I wear an XS and it fits true to size.

SKY BLUE:
This has to be my favorite summer fashion trend of 2024! I tend to favor cooler tones because of my light hair and skin and sky blue is one of my absolute favorite colors to wear. So, when I saw this matching set in the perfect sky blue shade I knew it had to come home with me. I’m headed to the Bahamas next month and this set is coming with me as the perfect resort look option. The top can be styled with the matching skirt or denim shorts for a more casual vibe. I wear an XS in the tank and it fits true to size.
MIDI SKIRT:
This is the matching skirt to the top above, and I personally love the 2 pieces styled together. The solid color makes accessorizing a breeze, especially if you’re sticking to metallics. I styled this look with a silver Chanel handbag and an adorable pair of matching silver kitten heels to complete the ensemble. I wear an XS and find it fits true to size.

METALLICS:
The last trend on my list of the most viral summer fashion trends of 2024 is anything metallic! Metallics have been hot for quite a while now and I typically like to incorporate them into my looks via my footwear and handbags. Today, however, I’ve opted for an incredibly chic silver bustier top from Revolve. The boned bodice gives lots of support and the material is faux leather so it won’t wrinkle. I styled it with ruched maxi skirt in white for a semi-monochrome look. I wear a small in the top and an XS in the skirt; both fit true to size.
