A NO-FAIL SPRING OUTFIT FORMULA THAT WORKS EVERY TIME

Springtime is here and I’m so excited for lighter, brighter colors! I don’t know about you but once winter is over I get so tired of wearing all the darker shades, so come springtime I’m always up for a spring wardrobe refresh.
QUESTION: How often do you wake up and have that dreaded feeling of “I HAVE NOTHING TO WEAR”?
If I had to guess I bet you’ve had that feeling a time or two and even I can admit that I have that feeling on the rare occasion. Well, I have the answer to this complicated style conundrum and it’s actually very simple and easy to follow.
Springtime Style Hack
Choose one go-to outfit in the same color scheme, (I like to stick to all white or ivory during the warmer months and all black in the colder months) then top it off with a fabulous statement-making jacket.
That’s it, see I told you it was super easy!
As you’ll see in the 3 looks I’m featuring in today’s post, starting off with an all-white look underneath and then adding a third layer creates 3 different chic spring looks in no time! IVORY BODYSUIT:
A good body suit is the ideal base to start an outfit from, and this ivory body suit from SKIMS is the perfect candidate. I personally swear by Skims bodysuits because they are SO comfortable and the material is very soft and stretchy. The material also smooths any bumps or lines for an ultra sleek look to get your look started!
IVORY JEANS:
The exact jeans I’m wearing are by Mother and are unfortunately sold out; So I’m recommending these ivory jeans by Rag and Bone instead. They have a similar cut and are high-waisted, of course. I especially love the ivory wash because it is more modern and updated than wearing the traditional bright white denim in the warmer months. If you have followed me for any amount of time, you know how I am about my denim, so trust me when I say these jeans are a fabulous alternative to the Mother jeans.
UNDER $100 DENIM VEST:
This denim moto vest from BLANKNYC is the perfect mash up of a trucker jacket and a moto vest and is one of my favorite new layering pieces. I love the light wash and find it to be perfectly over-sized. Also, the trim details really bring the whole look together. I’m wearing an XS in this stylish hero piece.

My blazer is by Cinq a Sept and the beautiful mint green shade it features is a super hot color this season. It is perfectly over-sized and I love that the sleeves are made to look pushed up. I also like the loose tailoring on this blazer because it gives a more casual vibe. It comes in 4 other colors ( I also own the black one) and I’m wearing a size 0 in this super chic blazer.
