The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is by far my most favorite sale of the year! These items above are my top picks from the anniversary sale that would fit well into any wardrobe. What is the one question you should always ask yourself before you buyanything? Is this item versatile? Why? Because in the fashion world VERSATILITY EQUALS VALUE. Meaning, are you going to be able to pair this item with multiple pieces from your closet to create multiple looks. If the answer is NO, then DO NOT PURCHASE THE ITEM. It’s that simple. So, all of these items I have chosen below are versatile and can be mixed and matched with multiple things in this post. Happy Shopping!!
The Moto Jacket – By far my favorite trend of the season, the rebel chic look. All of these jackets can be paired over a sheath dress, maxi dress, with the skinny jean or your favorite boyfriend jean. If you only add one thing to your wardrobe this season, let it be a moto jacket.
The Sheath Dress – my 2nd favorite trend of the season, this dress hits roughly 1-3 inches below the knee, it is form fitting to flatter your figure and can be worn to many different events. Pair it with a moto jacket and an ankle boot for the perfect rebel chic look or for a more traditional look pair it with a simple black heel and an over-sized clutch.
The Silk Top – I love silk tops because they can easily be dressed up or down. Pair these with a high-waisted pencil skirt and an ankle strap heel for a dressy look or with a skinny jean and a moto jacket for a more casual and chic ensemble.
The Ankle Bootie – The cool girl’s answer to wearing a high heel. When opting for an ankle boot instead of the traditional heel your are adding a bit of edge and rebel chicness to your look which I am a big fan of and that look is very on trend this fall!
The Over-Sized Clutch – I especially love this particular clutch because of it’s versatility – you could literally pair this with almost anything from a pair of jeans and a moto jacket, to a chic sheath dress. I love both colors, choose the one that best fits in with your wardrobe.
The Perfect High-Heel – when you are sick of wearing your ankle booties and you are feeling a bit more feminine these 2 pairs of heels are so versatile and chic! I purchased the tan and black one’s that you probably saw in my last post – I have worn them so much since I got them! I wore them with jeans and a tank, paired them with a black jumpsuit and even wore them with cut-offs and a black moto jacket the other day. A must have for fall for sure!
The Skinny Jean – Yes, the skinny will still be in this fall for sure. I love wearing skinny jeans, whether they are a solid wash or distressed – both are versatile and can create so many different looks depending on what your pair them with.
