Happy Wednesday ladies! It’s finally here, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now open to EVERYONE which means even if you’re not a Nordstrom cold holder you can start shopping this epic SALE today! Nordstrom is known for restocking tons of pieces that previously sold out during the early access days so if there has been something you have wanted but thought it was sold out chances are it’s been restocked, lucky you!
Shopping the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale can be a bit overwhelming since there are literally hundreds if not thousands of items on sale. To help you combat this madness, I’ve created a timeless and functional 14 piece Nordstrom Anniversary Sale capsule wardrobe. Most of these pieces can be mixed and matched and worn together to create a plethora of incredibly chic fall looks! Scroll down to check out all 14 items under each corresponding photo and feel free to shop anything you love along the way!

1.) FAUX LEATHER SHIRT JACKET (UNDER $100):
I seriously can’t believe this amazing faux-leather shirt jacket is under $100! The leather looks and feels like real leather and I personally love wearing it unbuttoned over a sleek bodysuit. I chose this incredible shirt jacket to be part of this capsule wardrobe because it’s extremely versatile and will go with so many things this fall and winter! It runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS.
2.) LIGHT WASH MOTHER JEANS:
These were my number one denim pick from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I love this light wash and the distressing is perfect! They’re a high-waisted skinny with a little stretch in them so they are crazy comfy which is always a plus! Pair them with any of the shirts, cardigans, or jackets from this functional capsule wardrobe and you’re sure to look incredibly stylish! These jeans run a tad bit big so size down one size, I’m wearing a size 24.

3.) TWEED BLAZER:
This $88 tweed blazer looks way more expensive than it really is in person and the fit is impeccable! This blazer can be worn over most of the tops in this capsule wardrobe and with all of the jeans which means this jacket is extremely versatile and wearable! It runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS.
4.) BLACK BODYSUIT:
Quite possibly the most versatile piece in this entire capsule wardrobe! This sleek and slimming bodysuit by Commando is so amazing for so many reasons! It comfortable, slimming, and literally goes so well under all of the jackets featured in this capsule wardrobe. If I’m being honest, I wear this bodysuit way too much since it goes with everything and for under $100 it’s a no-brainer if you ask me! It runs true to size, I’m wearing a small.

5.) GRAY MOTO JACKET:
This gorgeous real suede moto jacket is on sale making it only $111 which is a crazy good price for a REAL suede jacket! I love this versatile gray shade because it goes with so much. It will pair beautifully with all of the tops, jeans, and leggings from this timeless capsule wardrobe! This jacket runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS. My jeans and cami are also part of the NSALE!
6.) LEOPARD TOP (UNDER $40):
A leopard top is a versatile piece that can be worn with so many things and so many different ways. Wear it now alone paired with these slimming Mother jeans and heels which are also part of this capsule wardrobe and wear it later under the black cardigan or faux-leather shirt jacket with the black jeans and black boots from this capsule wardrobe for a more wintery look. This shirt is under $40 and runs true to size, I’m wearing a US 4.

This white top is the perfect top to wear alone now and wear later underneath any of these fabulous jackets or cardigans. It’s wrinkle-free and I love the v-neckline which is perfect for showing off some of your favorite necklaces! It comes in tons of colors and runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS.

8.) LONG SLEEVE BLACK TOP (UNDER $50):
This effortless black shirt is the perfect top to wear alone now and wear later underneath any of these chic jackets or cardigans. 9.) LIGHT GRAY CARDIGAN:
This is my personal favorite cardigan from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I love that it’s a bit on the shorter side and this gorgeous gray color is extremely versatile! It’s so soft and cozy making it the perfect topper for traveling or lounging around! It goes so well with so many pieces from this capsule wardrobe!
10.) BLACK JEANS:
Every wardrobe needs a slimming pair fo black skinny jeans! The reason is that black skinnies can be worn now with heels and later tucked into boots making the perfect jean that will transition you beautifully into fall and winter! The exact ones I’m wearing are by Good American and they’re almost sold out, so I recommend these flattering black jeans by Madewell that are also part of the NSALE and fully stocked.
11.) BLACK KNEE-HIGH BOOTS:
Black knee-high boots are a definite must-have for fall and wintertime! The moment I laid eyes on these suede beauties I knew they would be the perfect boots! I love the pointy toe because they elongate the legs making you look taller and slimmer which is always a plus! These chic boots will literally go with everything from jeans, skirts, and dresses making them worth every penny when you consider the cost per wear!

12.) BLACK CARDIGAN (UNDER $40):
Is any wardrobe really complete without a black cardigan? I don’t think so which is why this comfy and chic under $40 cardigan made it into this functional capsule wardrobe. Pair it with jeans or with the chic and comfy faux leather leggings below for a fall look that is both comfy and stylish! It runs true to size, I’m wearing an XS.

13.) FAUX-LEATHER LEGGINGS:
These leggings are so comfortable and the fact that they’re faux leather makes them super cool and on-trend! Wear these faux leather leggings with any of the cardigans or jackets in this post for a fail-proof look that is guaranteed to take you many places this fall in style AND comfort! The exact ones I’m wearing are by Commando and not part of the NSALE but they’re still a great deal coming in at only $98! They’re high-waisted with a tummy-smoothing panel which makes them super slimming! I did also link these amazing faux leather leggings that are very similar and part of the NSALE. They run true to size, I’m wearing a size small. My leather jacket is also part of the NSALE and one of my personal favorite purchases!

Since every wardrobe needs a pair of killer heels I just had to include these by Jessica Simpson! These uber chic heels are hands down my favorite pair of heels part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! Would you believe they’re only $59 and still fully stocked?! Wear them with almost any of the shirts or jackets from this capsule wardrobe and you’ll be sure to get a few compliments!
