Merry Christmas Eve in the Comfiest PJ’s EVER!

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!  I hope all of you have an amazing holiday filled with lots of laughter and love!  I want to take this time to tell all of you how grateful I am for each and every one of you!  My blog would be nothing without all of you so I can’t tell you how much I appreciate YOU!!

SHOP MY CHIC LOUNGEWEAR LOOK:

Here’s a run-down of what I’m doing this Christmas.  Well, first I need wrap gifts today, I’ve only wrapped like 3 so I have a ton more to wrap!  Later on today, we’re all going over to my Mother-n-law’s house for dinner and a gift exchange and that’s always so much fun!  We will then go to the Christmas Eve candlelight service at our church which always puts all of us in the Christmas spirit!  On Christmas day I’m hosting my side of the family at our house, I’ll be making a pork tenderloin and potatoes and everyone else will be bringing something, thank goodness for that!  I thought it would be fun to share some of my Christmas traditions which always make this time of year extra special.  What are some of your Christmas traditions?

SOME OF MY FAVORITE CHRISTMAS TRADITIONS:

1.) Ever since I was a little girl my Mother and I have always made sugar cookies from scratch and iced and decorated them, this was always my favorite tradition growing up and still is to this day.  Today, my Mom still decorates with me and my kiddos making it even more special since this is a tradition we’ve been doing together so long!

2.) We all come home from GG’s house on Christmas Eve and put our Christmas PJ’s on and watch Christmas Vacation, I seriously think that is the funniest movie ever!!

3.) A tradition we used to do and haven’t done in the last 2 years, but I definitely want to start doing again is taking a carriage ride around the neighborhood to look at Christmas lights.  We always take all 5 of our kids of course, and both our Moms and it’s always so much fun!

BAREFOOT DREAMS CARDIGAN:

One of my favorite things to do is come home from a busy day and take a bubble bath and put my PJ’s on, anyone else?  I go to bed pretty early every night, like by 9 pm, I know it’s crazy early and all my friends make fun of me for it!  My favorite thing to lounge around the house in and even sleep in on very cold nights is this extremely soft Barefoot Dreams cardigan!  I literally feel like I’m being wrapped up in a blanket when I wear this cardi!  If you get this cardi, trust me, you’ll never want to take it off, it that’s soft and cozy!!

FRANK & EILEEN TANK:

I just got this tank by Frank & Eileen and I’m obsessed!  I love how it’s cut in on the shoulders making it kinda sexy and it’s made of the softest vintage white tee material making this tank a definite cut above your average tank top.  The cut on the bottom of this tank is really long and uneven so it looks amazing un-tucked worn under a cool jacket.

MAKE + MODEL JOGGERS:

Ok, the inside of these joggers are extremely soft so naturally I want to live in them!  I got both of my daughters a pair for Christmas and I just know they will love them!  They’re by one of my favorite loungewear brands that Nordstrom carries which is called Make + Model.  Everything this brand makes is so soft and cozy yet very stylish and reasonably priced!!  These joggers run true to size, I’m wearing an XS in these chic joggers.

FAUX FUR SLIPPERS:

These crazy soft faux fur slippers are only $29 and super chic!  I love putting them on after I’ve been in my heels all day, they’re seriously some of the softest slippers I’ve ever put on!

PS – My sweet shih tzu Lily is so precious to my family!  We’ve had her for over 10 years and she’s the sweetest little thing!
