It’s that time of the month again, our “Chic at Every Age” post featuring “The PLAID SHIRT” – styled 4 ways by:

A plaid shirt and jeans – a favorite look of mine because it’s so easy and effortless.  You could wear this outfit so many places such as a day out running errands, a child’s sporting event, a date night or lunch with the girls.  Our shirts’ are from Madewell, a shop owned by the same people as J Crew with really cute clothes at very affordable prices, the shirt I’m wearing is only $49.99!  It’s super soft, comfy, and so versatile.  You could throw on a leather jacket over this look or fur vest to dress it up a bit.  I think the key to elevating your look when wearing a simple plaid shirt is to tuck in just the front, (the half tuck),  wear a belt and roll the sleeves up. I love all of the fun colors Madewell offers in this shirt!  If you don’t already have a simple plaid shirt I encourage you to add one to your wardrobe – you’ll be glad you did!
