BLOGGER GETAWAY TO LAKE AUSTIN SPA RESORT

I had the luxury of staying at the Lake Austin Spa Resort with 5 of my girl friends who happen to be bloggers too:

Tanya Foster of Tanya Foster, Cathy Williamson of The Middle Page, Mary Summers of So Then They Say, Ashley Robertson of The Teacher Diva, and Lynsey Eaton of Tomboy KC.  I loved spending time with these amazingly inspiring women who are all so beautiful inside and out!

This trip was one of the BEST girl’s trips I have ever taken for so many reasons! First, I came home feeling so relaxed and refreshed because of the fabulous spa treatments I received. I got a facial which was without a doubt one of the best facials I have ever received. My skin felt soft and had this perfect glow to it when I was finished, I felt like I looked 5 years younger! I also enjoyed an amazingly relaxing swedish message, I had a little back pain when I went in and after the message was over my back pain was completely gone!

The grounds are absolutely breath taking, so well kept and full of beautiful flowers and trees, I didn’t even feel like I was in Texas! The food was so delicious and I really liked the portion sizes – not too big so I never felt like I over ate.  Our room was extremely luxurious and beautiful and the beds were super comfortable, something I always look for when I’m staying somewhere.

I enjoyed a number of fun activities such as a scenic boat ride, paddle boarding, pilates, and a water mediation class – I felt like I was at the best camp for adults!! It was the perfect amount of fun mixed with relaxation time – which for me was spent on my beautiful patio drinking wine over looking the gorgeous lake!

I’m looking forward to going back as soon as possible with my husband for our anniversary. I told him I knew he would love this place just as much as I do! I highly recommend visiting Lake Austin Spa Resort, for a girl’s trip or a romantic get away, it’s truly one of the BEST vacation spots in the country!!

I also want to mention how we got to Lake Austin Spa Resort, we took a first class luxury bus called Vonlane – and wow was I impressed!!  At first when I heard we were taking a bus I was a little hesitant, but let me tell you, this is NOTHING like your average bus.  This bus makes you feel like you are on a first class private jet, but with even more leg room, free wifi, the most amazing snacks, and even a meal is served.  The bathrooms are so nice you might think you were in a luxury hotel.  The next time I travel to Houston or Austin I’ll for sure be traveling via VONLANE, one of the best travel experiences ever!
