Laguna Beach

One of my favorite places to visit is Laguna Beach, California! I’m turning 41 on November 16th so my husband and I decided to take a fun birthday trip to Laguna and stay at our favorite place, The Montage. The Montage is an amazing resort over looking the ocean and the mountains, the pool view is out of this world! If you are are looking for a romantic getaway or even a fun family vacation, I highly recommend staying at The Montage. The food is incredible, the spa is fabulous, the grounds are so amazingly lush and beautiful, and the beach is wonderful too! Here are the outfits I wore this weekend in Laguna:
Look 1 – My travel outfit – to and from Laguna – I always say you want to be comfortable when you are traveling so I typically wear a comfy pair of jeans and a jacket – the jacket I’m wearing was my birthday present from my husband – I’m in love with the color – pale gray – so versatile – it will go with so many things in my closet! I also recommend bringing a scarf with you when you travel since airports and planes seem to always be so cold!!
Look 2 – I wore this all black ensemble on our dressiest night there to The Studio restaurant at The Montage – we had drinks by the fire pit and then ate dinner outside over-looking the beautiful beach and mountains – so fun!
Look 3 – Alabama was playing football this night and for those of you who know my husband, he’s a HUGE Alabama fan. We rented a Cabana by the pool and had so much fun watching the game! I went super casual in my rails plaid shirt – (which is 20% off) at Bloomingdales by the way, and my favorite leopard heels.
Look 4 – Poolside – I always say that wearing all black by the pool is the only way to go. Here’s why – it’s super slimming and always looks so chic and sophisticated. A hat is a “must have for sure” when laying by the pool – it can hide your messy beach hair and keeps the sun off your face.
