Happy Wednesday! I can’t believe spring break is almost here, can you?! My husband and I are taking our senior girls to Cancun with about 30 other teenagers, please say a prayer for me! There will be other parents there as well so it’s really not as scary as it sounds. I love the beach and everything about it – the ocean, the waves, the sun, salt and even the sand!
I’m bringing my new favorite denim skirt with me and this top as well, but will wear these lace up sandals with this outfit instead for a more casual beach look for one of the nights. My skirt in by Redone, a very cool denim designer that re does vintage Levis for the absolute perfect fit – you can view the line HERE at Nordstrom. My denim skirt is high-rise, it runs true to size (I’m wearing a size 25) and it’s so versatile, it literally matches everything so I know I’ll be wearing it multiple times while I’m at the beach even as a cover up over my swim suit! I found this skirt from Nordstrom that’s almost identical to this one, but a fraction off the price, I linked it below under SHOP MY LOOK.
My cold shoulder top is perfect for the beach, light weight and breezy and I love the color! It’s a bit dressy for the day time so I’ll be pairing this top with my denim skirt and lace up sandals for the perfect casual and chic beach night look. This top runs true to size, I’m wearing a size XS. This top would also look fabulous paired with white denim and some fun heels for a date night or girl’s night out.
During the day while I’m at the beach I’ll be wearing my favorite black bikini and black romper cover-up that I just got at Nordstrom, it’s so cute because of the fun tassels!! I love this HAT and never go to the beach without it, and these T-kees flip flops will be on my feet a ton too, they’re comfy and perfect to wear pool side!
