Happy Friday Ladies! Can you believe we are already halfway through the month of October!? You know what they say, time flies when you’re having fun and I ALWAYS have fun with my BFF and fellow influencer Cathy from The Middle Page! We both fell in love with these incredibly slimming pants on a recent shopping trip to Evereve and I just had to share them with you all!
These are actually called “paper bag waist pants” and they have skyrocketed in popularity in the last few weeks. Have you heard of the paper bag waist pant trend? They are a great alternative to wearing jeans and they tend to be very flattering on a host of different body types. I also love how they can elevate any look, no matter what age the wearer may be!
We found both of these pairs in store at Evereve, which is one of our favorite places to shop. They always have the best basics with some super fun trend items thrown in the mix, so it’s no surprise they had these super trendy bottoms! This style of pants is so hot right now and it’s easy to see why! They are super slimming because of the high tie waist and they are made of the softest faux leather I’ve ever worn. They come in this gorgeous burgundy shade that I love and they also come in black, as you can see on Cathy. I’m wearing an XS and I find they fit true to size.
BEIGE CUT-OUT TOP:
Cutouts are another trend we are seeing everywhere this fall and I have to say, I’m a huge fan! I find the key is incorporating pieces that have a few tasteful cutouts, because when it comes to this trend – less is more! I’m wearing an XS in this soft neutral beige sweater that is perfect for fall AND winter.
BEIGE ANKLE STRAP HEELS:
These beige ankle strap heels are the perfect shoe to style with paper bag waist pants for 2 reasons; First, they are a neutral beige shade that compliments the burgundy shade of the pants. Second, they feature a delicate slim pin heel that offsets the baggier style of the pants!
BETTER FOR BUDGET FOR HERE:
If the designer version is out of your budget, don’t worry! I’ve found these budget-friendly dupes by Vince Camuto that are the same neutral shade with a similar slim heel. These heels are normally a fantastic value for under $100, but they are currently ON SALE for up to 60% off, so I suggest grabbing a pair before they’re gone!

Accessories can make or break an outfit, and this two-tone necklace by Saint Laurent is a classic piece that I wear with all my looks! I love how it incorporates both gold and silver tones so the options when choosing the rest of my jewelry are literally endless. This is an investment piece that will last years in your wardrobe, I guarantee it!
GREAT DUPE HERE:
I always try to find a budget-friendly version of my favorite pieces, and this two-tone chain from AllSaints is a fantastic dupe for the Saint Laurent necklace! It also has both silver and gold tones and a chunky chain style but is literally a 1/4 of the price! Whatever option you choose, I hope you will love it as much as I do!
