5 CLASSY WAYS TO WEAR THIS SEASON’S HOTTEST BOOT TREND
in Fashion on 18/11/2022
Want to know what this season’s hottest boot trend is? Well, if you guessed knee-high boots then you’re absolutely right! If I’m being honest knee-high boots are my personal favorite boot trend to wear. Why? Well, they make your legs look miles long, especially if you pair them with high-waisted denim or pants. Bonus points if you match your denim to your boots! This has an elongating effect on the bottom portion of your silhouette making you look taller and slimmer! In case you’re in need of tips for how to style knee-high boots then keep scrolling because I’ve got 5 fabulous ways to wear them below, along with some amazing winter wardrobe essentials.
SHOP LOOK 1:
FAUX FUR MOTO JACKET:
This faux fur jacket by River Island is such a gorgeous rich camel shade, it looks far more expensive than it really is. The faux fur is super soft and cozy and the oversized style looks great over a fitted top. I’m wearing an XS in this high-quality jacket with a price tag around $160.
THE MODERN SKINNY JEAN:
These jeans by Madewell are what I like to call a modern skinny jean and they are perfect to wear with boots! The vintage wash is wearable all year round and the slim tapered leg fits perfectly under boots, especially knee-highs. As a bonus, they are currently 40% off, so if you’ve found yourself needing a great pair of jeans to wear with boots, now is the time to snap some up! I’m wearing a size 24 for size reference.
PLATFORM KNEE-HIGH BOOTS:
These boots are definitely a splurge but I knew I would wear them all the time, which makes for an excellent cost-per-wear rate. I especially love the platform heel, which has come back in a BIG way this year! The heel also makes them very comfortable to wear when compared to a stiletto heel.
If the designer version is out of your price range, especially with the holidays coming up, don’t worry! This pair from Dillards has a slightly more petite feel to them, but with the same trendy platform heel, AND a price tag 1/3 of the designer version! Whichever option you choose, you’ll know exactly how to style them to look beyond fabulous.
SHOP THE LOOK:
This next example of how to style knee-high boots features a GORGEOUS cashmere sweater and skirt set. Believe me when I say the material is so soft it feels like you’re wearing a cloud! I also can’t get enough of the beautiful olive green shade that is wearable all year round. I’m wearing an XS for size reference.
CASHMERE MIDI SKIRT:
The matching skirt to the sweater above creates a super chic monochrome look that makes accessorizing a breeze! you could pair this set with black boots like I have or you could switch out the blazer for a white faux fur coat and add some ivory boots for a brighter look. I’m also wearing an XS in the skirt.
FAUX LEATHER BLAZER:
This faux leather blazer by Steve Madden has been a best seller for a while now and it’s easy to see why! The fit is impeccable, the vegan leather is butter soft and it has a great price! I’m wearing an XS in this chic third layer.

This camel coat is one hero piece that EVERY closet needs and this one is currently 40% off! The gorgeous camel shade will go with almost anything and makes it look way more expensive than it really is. I’m wearing an XS in this coat that is the perfect item to style with knee-high boots.

A really good cashmere sweater is a must-have for the colder months and I love this one from Express. The ribbed design is super flattering and it comes in 4 different colors. I’m wearing an XS in this winter wardrobe staple.
AGOLDE RILEY JEAN:
This is another great pair of jeans to wear with boots from Agolde. The cropped length is perfect for knee-high boots AND ankle boots and the black wash goes with almost everything. I’m wearing a size 24 and I find they fit true to size.
BLACK KNEE-HIGH BOOT:
The exact boots I’m wearing are unfortunately sold out but I’ve linked a pair that are almost identical for a great price! I love the skinny heel and the leather material is butter soft. If you are in the market for a new pair of boots, these just might be the ones!

FAUX FUR COAT:
I can’t get enough of this fabulous faux fur coat from Express! The oversized shawl collar and mid-thigh length make it feel incredibly cozy and warm. I’m wearing an XS for size reference.
IVORY MIDI SKIRT:
This ivory skirt is fabulous to wear with knee-high boots for a more layered look. The ribbed material is very forgiving and makes this skirt look much more expensive than it really is. I’m wearing an XS and I find it fits true to size.
IVORY BOOTS BY SCHUTZ:
Some may say you shouldn’t wear all white in the winter, but I actually love to wear this monochrome look! These ivory boots bring the whole look together and they actually look like some Paris Texas boots but are a fraction of the price. If you don’t own a pair of ivory boots, I highly recommend these ones!
SHOP THE LOOK:
UNDER $100 CARDIGAN:
The last look in this guide for how to style knee-high boots features this super chic cardigan. One of my favorite things about it is that it can serve double duty as a top as well as a cardigan! I also love the price tag of under $100. I’m wearing an XS in this versatile top that comes in several colors to suit any preference.
SLVRLAKE IVORY JEANS:
I don’t know about you, but I find white jeans can be really hit or miss as far as being see-through in all the wrong spots. Luckily I’ve discovered these ones by SLVRLAKE that are very solid and super comfy. I’m wearing a size 24 in these winter wardrobe must-haves.
