Now one thing that is challenging when it comes to fashion trends is deciding which ones to wear and which ones to skip so here is my number one tip to help you decide. WEAR ONLY THE TRENDS THAT LIGHT YOU UP AND MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE THE BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF. It really is that simple! MAXI HEMLINES:
First on my list of the hottest fashion trends of 2024 are maxi hemlines! Whether it’s a dress or a skirt, a hemline touching or close to the ground is going to be right on trend this year. This brown sweater dress is a great way to wear this trend in the fall & winter and it’s a more comfortable and casual option. I love to wear maxi hemlines because they elongate your silhouette and make you appear taller, especially when paired with stiletto boots like I have here. I wear an XS in this chic maxi sweater dress.

If I had to pick ONE jacket silhouette that is going to reign supreme in 2024 it’s going to be the bomber jacket. This is one of my favorite styles of jacket because it’s very edgy but it’s also timeless and classic. This sherpa varsity option from BLANKNYC is a fabulous example of one of the hottest fashion trends of 2024. Both Cathy and I wear an XS and it fits true to size.

Trend No. 3 of the hottest fashion trends of 2024 is one of my FAVORITES which is wearing all black! Whenever I see a woman wearing all black I always think she looks classic, sophisticated, and put together. Plus, it’s one of the easiest default looks to style when you’re at a loss for what to wear. One thing to keep in mind is to mix textures in a monochromatic look to break it up and provide visual interest, such as these sleek leather pants from Alice & Olivia. I wear a 24 and they fit true to size.
UNDER $100 FAUX FUR JACKET:
I chose this gorgeous under $100 faux fur jacket from BLANKNYC as my third layer for this all-black look. A jacket like this checks off another hot trend from 2024 which is voluminous outwear because faux fur jackets naturally have a lot of shape and bulk to them. I LOVE to wear metallics whether they are trending or not, so I’m particularly excited to continue to find new and exciting ways to wear them! Trend No.5 of the hottest fashion trends of 2024 is pointy-toed shoes worn with wide-leg jeans. Wearing the 2 together instantly makes you appear taller and your legs will look miles long. I love these trousers jeans as the perfect medium wide-leg style that won’t overtake your silhouette, especially for those who are petite. I wear a size 24 in this killer pair of denim!
POINTY TOE HEELS:
These are one of the top-selling pairs of shoes for 2023 and I can see why! They feature a wearable 3″ heel and I love the refined, minimalist design. They are also very affordable, especially since some colors and finishes are on sale for under $100 right now!
