5 FALL TRENDS OUT OF STYLE + 5 FABULOUS FALL LOOKS FROM EXPRESS

First on my list of fall trends out of style is 2 patterns that have been big the last few years, Paisley and Camo. These patterns are out of style and just a bit tired, but the updated version is to wear chocolate brown instead of paisley and olive green instead of camo. This olive green blazer is the perfect example and it’s oversized which is also on trend. The price point is fantastic and I’m wearing an XS in this fashionable fall trend.

Faux leather is a HUGE fall trend that is a personal favorite of mine! I love the edge a little faux leather can bring to a look and it doesn’t hurt that this top is also very flattering. I’m wearing an XS and find it fits true to size.

This is an updated version of one of my FAVORITE denim silhouettes of all time. I own several pairs of the skyscraper jeans in a variety of washes and when I saw this pair with a split hem and seam details, I instantly added to cart! I’m wearing a  size 0 reg and they fit true to size.

Fall trend out style No. 2 on my list is the exact knee-length hemline skirt. Not only is this hemline length out of style I also just don’t think it’s flattering in general. You can have the most beautiful legs and this hemline will cut them off and make you look shorter guaranteed. Instead chose a hemline that’s either above or below your knees, like this cargo skirt I’m wearing. Both hemlines will elongate your legs and do so much more for your silhouette! I’m wearing an XS in this trending must-have.

Next on my list of fall trends out of style is cut-out shoulder tops. It’s just a bit dated for me so the updated version of this trend is opt for more subtle cutouts such as this sweater tank! Do you own any sweater tank tops? They are quickly becoming one of my favorite materials for a host of reasons. The textured fabric looks high end and I find the fit to be impeccable! This one from Express has a great price point under $50 and I’m wearing an XS.

I paired this updated tank with these fabulous 90’s jeans. I love almost any denim from Express because it all fits and feels like designer jeans but at a fraction of the price! The design details like the center seam down each leg as well as the split hem really take them to the next level. I’m wearing a size 0 red and find they fit true to size.

This next fall trend is a bit controversial so as always you can take what you like from my advice and leave the rest! The sheer trend is here and depending on how you wear it I think it can be very chic & edgy. In this look, I opted to wear a beige oversized blazer draped over my sheer top to provide more coverage and I think it comes across as chic & elegant. I’m wearing an XS in this fabulous 3rd layer.

This sheer bodysuit is the perfect way to wear this trend in my opinion! It’s long sleeved and I chose this gorgeous chcolate brown shade in line with the pattern trends I talked about earlier. I wear an XS in trending top and it fits true to size.

How fabulous is this denim moto jacket? Leave it to Alice & Olivia to give you the best of both worlds in one jacket! I love the classic Moto design combined with the denim material and of course, the fit is amazing! I’m wearing an XS in the fall must-have.

The last fall trend out of style I want to talk about is low rise jeggings. Now these have been out of style for quite a while, but I always get asked if skinny jeans are out as well. The good news is Modern skinny jeans are still in, but what’s really taking the denim world by storm right now is relaxed-fit jeans like this baggy pair of faded black jeans. Look for a high waist and a loose fit and be sure to pair them with a form-fitting top. I’m wearing O REG and find they fit true to size.
