In summer time the importance of a good white shirt and a good pair of cut-offs is very high! I would put these 2 items at the top of my “must have” list for summer. So easy to throw on to run errands, lunch with friends, or a even a summer concert. The accessories you put with your simple shirt and shorts will make ALL the difference. If you want to dress the look up a bit, opt for a heel or wedge and heavier jewelry, for a more casual ensemble minimize your jewelry and pair with a cute pair of flat sandals – these I love from J Crew. The key to wearing shorts is to air on the bigger side, do not ever wear your shorts too tight or too short!! As for the white shirt – over-sized is in right now and I love to tuck in just the front for the perfect effortless and chic look.
