Do you know what the hottest jacket trend is for spring 2023? If you guessed cropped blazers, then you’re 100% right! That’s why the Chic at Every Age girls are all rocking this super fun blazer in one of the hottest colors of 2023!
A cropped jacket or top can be a bit intimidating to style if you’re not familiar, so I’ve got a tip or 2 to share that I personally use when I’m styling anything cropped. The MOST important tip is to pair your cropped jacket or top with a high-waisted bottom, whether we’re talking about a fabulous pair of jeans or a trending denim maxi skirt. This trick accentuates your natural waist and makes it so you’re only showing a moderate amount of midriff. Another trick I use is to wear a form-fitting bodysuit or tank underneath to ensure a streamlined look!

PINK BLAZER:
This pink cropped blazer from Express is the “It Jacket” for spring and it’s pretty easy to see why! The bright pink shade is one of the hottest colors for 2023, the cropped style is having a huge moment right now AND it has a price tag UNDER $100! I don’t know about you, but that’s pretty close to perfect for me! I’m wearing an XS in this beautiful cropped blazer that comes in 2 additional colors.
WHITE BODYSUIT:
As I mentioned earlier, I always make sure to wear a form-fitting bodysuit or top under a cropped jacket and this one from Express is one of my newest favorites. The sweetheart neckline is super flattering and I love the delicate spaghetti straps! It’s also very affordable at its regular price but it happens to be ON SALE right now for 40% off, making it under $30! I’m wearing an XS and find it fits true to size.
UNDER $100 FLARES:
Express has been knocking it out of the park lately with some of the best denim I’ve seen all for under $100. This pair of light wash flares is just one example of a fabulous pair of denim for spring. They feature a high waist that pairs perfectly with a cropped blazer and the sexy slit at the ankle really takes them to the next level. I’m wearing a size 0 reg in these skyscraper jeans that are also on sale for under $60!

CROPPED DENIM BLAZER:
My next look features this chic cropped blazer that is designed in a faux-denim fabric that pairs perfectly with jeans for a double-denim look. Express actually has a matching pair of pants, although I personally recommend mixing and matching denim tones when wearing double denim, you do you! I’m wearing an XS and find it fits true to size.

PEARL LEATHER JACKET:
If you prefer a jacket style over a blazer I would recommend this pearl leather jacket by Cami NYC. I don’t typically opt for a glossy finish but combined with the gorgeous pearl shade this jacket simply shines! The zipper and belt details elevate this jacket to the next level and give it a bit of an edge as well. I’m wearing an XS in this edgy alternative to a cropped blazer!
BETTER FOR BUDGET:
Since the Cami NYC jacket is a bit of an investment I wanted to link this faux leather jacket from BLANKNYC as a more affordable option. It’s also a cropped style with metallic details but it boasts a price tag under $100 which is a fraction of the cost of the designer version! I also own this jacket in the lavender shade which would be fabulous for spring. I’m wearing an XS and find it fits true to size.
